Zach's pov
The bell for first period rang. "We have English." Jack says. We all nodded and walked off to English. When we arrived, me and Corbyn sat together and then, Jack and Daniel behind us. We always do that for every class. The class was chatting loudly, while waiting for our teacher to come in. "I heard our English  teacher is new here." Daniel says. "Really?!" Corbyn and me ask at the same time. "Jinx!" We say at the same time. "We're the same person." Corbyn says chuckling. I nod and start to chuckle too. Suddenly, our new teacher walks in. I realized that he looks like Jonah Marais. I have a huge crush on Jonah Marais. Anyways, as soon as I laid eyes on him, my heart started to flutter. Wait! There's no way I have a crush on my teacher! I barley know him, and it's weird to have a crush on a grown man. Also, he's my teacher! "Hello class, my name is Mr. Marais and I'm your new English teacher." Says the teacher smiling. Oh my god, his smile is amazing! His last name is Marais so, he must be Jonah Marais the singer! Oh my god, I can't believe this! "Here's a worksheet to fire up your brains." He says still smiling. He handed out the worksheet and when he gave me mine, our eyes met we smiled at each other. Oh my god! I can't believe I just smiled at him. He sits down at his desk. I couldn't take my eyes off him but, I need to do the worksheet. With help from Corbyn, I managed to finish the worksheet. "Ok, I'm going to collect your worksheets now." Mr. Marais says as he starts to collect the worksheets. When he collects mine, we make eye contact, again. Oh my god! I keep telling myself that I'm not in love with him but, I know that's a big lie. I wish I didn't like him though. Because, now I feel like a creep. "Ok, open your text books to page 58." Mr. Marais says. We all open our textbooks and start to find the right page. "Ok, just answer these 20 questions in the book." He explains. We start to do the work. Me and Corbyn are doing the work but, we're also chatting and laughing. "Boys, less talking please." Mr. Marais says sternly. We make eye contact, again. He smiles at me, again. I smile back and carry on with my work. "You two keep making eye contact and smiling." Jack says. I turn round in my seat to face him. "I know but, I don't want to be rude so, I just smile back." I say. I feel my cheeks go red so, I quickly turn back around. I just hope my feelings for my teacher don't show too easily.
