The party went on for a few more hours we all had lots of fun and danced like ideats

I was now getting ready for the stupid dinner with the new pack because I was future alpha I had to attend but my stupid brothers didn’t have to come so It was just me and dad because mom was now on bed rest

Me and dad pulled up to the new packs house we got out and went to the door dad knock and waited for someone to answer the door

The door opened and the guy the keeps bumping me in the hall and spilling drinks on me was standing before us great what’s next the loser is the alpha I thought laughing to myself

“Alpha Dayton it’s good to see you” dad said

Oh fuck I jinxed it

“Alpha Tyler it’s nice to see you and your...”

“Daughter allie she is the next alpha of my pack” dad said alpha Dayton looked shooked then smiled

“it is an honor to meet you future alpha allie” Dayton said smiling at me and held his hand out to shack dad nudged me and I took his hand and shook it I felt the sparks I knew he was my mate

I didn’t want a mate it would make it harder for me with max’s brother still out there trying to kill my grandpa dad and now me and my brothers and a mate would just be another thing I would have to worry about and it would be harder because hes an alpha and would always be out there with his fighters fighting

“lets go eat shall we” Dayton said guestering for us to follow him to the dinning room

We all sat down and started eating dad and Dayton talked about alpha stuff that I didn’t really care about because it wasn’t my repsonabity yet

“Dayton do you have a mate” dad asked

My ears perked up at that I was worried that he would tell dad I didn’t want him to know

“um … its allie sir” Dayton said nervously

Dads head jerked up and to me a look of pure shock on his face

“allie why didn’t you tell me” dad asked

“I didn’t know tell we shook hands” I told him looking down

“I think I'm going to go home allie you stay her and talk this out with him then you can run home” dad said

He stood up and got up and walked out the door

Dayton got up and left motioning for me to follow

I followed him to what I was guessing was the living room he sat on the couch and I sat on the couch oppisute of him he seemed nervuse

“listen” we said at the same time

“sorry you go first” I said

“I'm fine if you want to go slow and get to know each other I’m not going to be one of those alphas that reject there mates like most are” he said figiting

Oh god now this is going to be even harder

“that’s sweet Dayton really it is but”

*tell him the truth it will make it easier* my wolf said cutting me off

“Dayton along time ago my grandpa killed my moms friend max’s dad max then tried to kill my dad for what he did to his dad my dad killed him because he tried to kill my mom and now his brother is trying to kill me and my brothers for taking his brother and dad I know it is complicating but by having a mate its harder both my brothers have mates and are always watching out because maxs brother josh has kidnapped them before but always got away by having you as my mate it will make you a target” I told him looking down at my hands
