1 year later

*flashback

I woke up and rubbed my eyes. I stretched my arms as a long yawn escaped my lips. As I tried to get up, I felt something weighing me down by my waist. I looked down and saw a large tattooed arm wrapped around me causing a huge smile to spread across my face. It was my second night back since Don came and got me.

I slowly moved his arm off of me and crawled out of the bed. I went to the bathroom and turned on the shower. The hot water squirted out of the shower head and onto my body. I gently washed my body being careful not to press too hard on my bruises. I feel a rush of cold air and a pair of arms reach around my waist. He leans down and says "morning" . I smile and turn around until we are facing each other. He pulls me closer to him and crashes his lips onto mine.

His hands slide down my body and cuffs my ass. I wrap my arms around his neck and deepen the kiss. He backs me up against the wall and lifts me up. I feel him poking at my entrance. He takes one hand off of me and guides his member inside of me. I gasp at his size. It's been a while and it took a minute for me to get use to him and adjust. My arms clung to his back while he slowly pushed deeper inside of me. 

He presses his face in the side of my neck and kissed all over it. He picked up the pace and I bit my bottom lip trying to take the pain. "Shiiitt Don..slow down" I moan. He slowed down and stroked long and slow. Each stroke hit my spot causing me to moan louder. He let out low grunts and he gripped my ass harder as he pounded into me. The sound of his voice was music to my ears.

"Damn girl. I'm finna bust" he said breathing heavier. He pumped harder and released inside of me. Stopping to catch his breath, he gently put me down and he washed himself. He smacked my ass and stepped out of the shower. I smiled to myself and continued my shower.

*end of flashback

"Kairi Chanel. Hurry up baby, it's time for pre-school" I yell. Kairi comes down the stairs and says "I'm coming mommy". I grab her little backpack and lunchbox and walk towards the door. Kairi sits down and puts on her shoes. My phone rings and I pull it out.

"Hello" I say. "You have a prepaid collect call from... Donald Brewster...an inmate at cook county correctional facility. Do you accept the charges" the automated voice says. My entire body froze but then I manage to utter the word "yes".

"Baby" Don says. "What the hell did you do Don" I asked frantic but trying not to scare Kairi. "They say they found my fingerprints at games house" he says. He pauses and then continues "I think they are going to charge me" he says. I feel a lump form in my throat. I didn't know how to react.

"I'm done mommy" Kairi says. I nod and we walk out the house. "What happens now" I ask. "I need you to go to safe in the closet and pull out $750,000 dollars. That will bail me out until trial" he says. "You have 30 seconds left" says the automated voice. "Give the money to Kev, he will know what to do" he says. "But baby, are you okay" I ask. "Yes, I'm good. I lov-" he says before the call cuts off. I wiped my tears and put Kairi in the car. "Why you crying momma" Kairi asks. "Mommy's fine okay" I assured her.

I dropped her off at pre-school and raced back home. I ran up to the closet and opened the safe. Don told me the code a while ago incase anything happened to him. I unlocked it and pulled out the money. It took me 30 minutes to count the money. The money was stacked in groups of $25,000. I put the money in the bag and drive over to Kev's house.
