Melanie: hey *to the girls* shouldn't you guys have somewhere to be
All three of the girls: nope
Melanie turns and glares at them and Demi said.
Demi: come on Miley, we don't want to be late for history
Miley: I agree
They both run off to their classes and both Melanie and Mason looked at Taylor
Melanie: don't you have homeroom to go to?
Taylor: I get it you two want to be alone, don't mind me I'm just heading out, don't try to get yourself in any trouble.
Melanie rolled her eyes and Taylor left them alone. Mason brought Melanie close to him and said.
Mason: now, where were we again? *about to kiss her*
Melanie: *stops him* we need to talk
Mason: is it a "I'm breaking up with you" or "we need to talk" or "just bad new"
Melanie: bad news.
Mason: well what is it?
Melanie: I haven't quiet told my dad and uncles we were together
Mason: what?!
Melanie: I'm sorry I'm just scared to see their reaction, usually dating is a big no, no for the girls in the Jonas Family
Mason: come on Mel you have to tell them about us, it's been over a month, what happens when they find this out from someone else like in the media or something. I don't want us not telling them were dating affect your relationship with them, especially your dad who still thinks of you as his little girl
Melanie: I don't know it's just too much pressure. I don't want them to hate me like they did with my Aunt Kayla. She told them about her and my Uncle Taylor that they have been dating for a month until, after they found out from the media
Mason: so when are you planning on telling them?
Melanie: this weekend, I was hoping I could ask dad to invite you over to dinner
Mason: well let me know what he says and give me a call, now come over here beautiful
Mel giggles as Mason dips her in his arms and gives her a long passionate kiss, until they were caught red handed.
Teacher: you too principle office, kissing is forbidden in the hallway during school hours
Melanie: but Mrs. Clark we didn't do anything
Mrs. Clark: sorry Mrs. Jonas but school rules
Mason: come on, what's the worst that could happened?
They later came out of the office with a detention slip and Melanie said.
Melanie: I can't believe he called my dad, I'm so dead
Mason: maybe you could be lucky and it wasn't your dad that picked up
Melanie: trust me it was my dad I heard yelling from the other side of the phone
Mason: this is bad
Melanie: I knew I should have told my dad yesterday like my Aunt told me to do
Mason: well maybe it won't be as bad as you think, so where do you want to go?
Melanie: library, I want to try to stay out of trouble until school over
Mason: agree
Mason grabs her hand and they walk hand and hand together to the library.
After Detention.
Melanie got in the car when dad came to pick her up, and he notice that her father didn't look to happy. Melanie close the door and put her seat belts on as he drive off and Kevin said as he was driving.
Kevin: I'm not happy Melanie
Melanie: *looks down* I know
Kevin: you know why I'm not happy
Melanie: because I kiss a guy from my school
Kevin: yes but that not what I'm talking about
Melanie: *looks at him in confusion*
Kevin: you got sent to the principle office, and ended up getting detention. When you should be in class, why weren't you in class Melanie?
Melanie: I didn't have class, it was my free period and that's when I usually hang out with Mason
Kevin: whose Mason?
Melanie: *mumbles* my boyfriend, the boy I was caught kissing with that got me detention
Kevin: boyfriend?! *makes a sharp turn to pull over*
Melanie: *hits head against the seat* ow!
Kevin: since when have you got a boyfriend?
Melanie: *looks down* for a month
Kevin: a month?! And I'm just finding out about this now
Melanie: *freaking out* I-I'm sorry sir, I really was going to tell you yesterday but I chicken out
Kevin: *sighs and pinches the bridge of his nose to call himself down* when we get home, I want you in my room nose corner
Melanie: what?! But I didn't do anything wrong!
Kevin: don't raise your voice at me young lady! You know exactly what you did wrong. You know how I feel about you girls getting in trouble in school, you got sent to the principle office for crying out loud and got detention for what you did.
Melanie: but all we did was kiss! I don't think I should get the belt for something I didn't do wrong.
Kevin: Melanie, I already told you why you are in trouble and you're not listening. We are done talking about this, just do as you are told when we get home
Melanie: (cross arm grumpy) whatever
