MOM! I shouted as I entered the door. I tossed my book bag on my white leather couch. My mom came running. What is it sweetheart she asked. I told her about my new lame project. She fiddled nervously. I asked her if I could get a blood sample to see if I was related to any ancient dudes. But darling, aren't you afraid of needles she asked eagerly. Never mind I practically shouted. I marched up into my room. She never tells me anything. I had been taking a course in reading hieroglyphics. I went into my closet to pick out an outfit for my date with Brad, my soulmate. When I was looking for my favorite skirt, I came across this old piece of paper written in hieroglyphics. Old was an understatement. At least a couple thousand years old. I read it and it said " I king Tutankhamen declare that my greatest grandchild shall be named Clay Tutcker and she shall be the greatest ruler Egypt has ever had." Wow I thought. They can't be talking about me. Or can they? I really hope they aren't. Or do I?
