"My darling, know that mother will always love you. Cover your ears and closed your eyes" she smiled warmly at her with tears in her eyes. "I hope you do not suffer....." she stood up and quickly left.
No matter how much Elpis screamed and tried to reach her, she could not move.
"The weather has started to warm up"
She turned towards the voice. "Yes, your Majesty" she replied. The air is filled with young plants growing and the sound of wings moving. Tis fading.....Elpis thought.
"The days are drawing near," he said and moved to sit down.
She followed after him and went to sit across from him. He moved his hand and she smelled a faint scent of a flower. She looked at his hand.
"Tis a cosmos, for you" he smiled and winked at her.
Peace, and serenity. She smiled and reached out her hand, "Thank you. Now let us continue with our second session. This time, you might suffer more than the last, will you still continue?"
He grins, "Of course. I am ready whenever you are"
"His mother is dead"
"Shhhhh....he can hear you"
"I bet he killed his mother"
"P-prince Asar, please ignore them" Sin said from behind him. He swallowed down his anger and turned to look at Sin, "Of course" he said and smiled.
Asar walked towards the three kids. "P-prince Asar?" Sin asked from behind nervously.
He ignored Sin, and punched the kid in green, the other two kids quickly ran off yelling.
Droplets of rain started to splatter here and there on the ground. "Owww!!" the kid wailed and quickly scrambled away from him, "I-I shall tell my father on you!!!!" he yelled and ran after the other two.
"Prince Asar" Sin said from behind with tears in his eyes. Suddenly, sheets of rain started pouring down on them.
Tears welled in Asars eyes but he quickly swept it away with the rain. "Stop it Sin! Now, we have to be stronger"
"B-but Prince how can we? W-we are only 11!" Sin bawled.
"..........we will have to Sin........" He said quietly.
"Heeheehe...... be sure to get it ready" she smiled and walked around Elpis. Elpis stood in her spot, unmoving. She breathed in and out calmly.
"I've already taken what's most valuable, dearie if you continued......" she whispered and wrapped her hands around Elpis. Elpis closed her eyes from the coldness that enveloped her. "Shhhhhhh......." it whispered in her ear, "it's coming" she took Elpis's arm, lifted it up and pointed upwards.
She heard the sound of wings and looked up. Sweat perspired on her temples. Tis not good, tis not good at all, Elpis thought and shook her head. She closed her eyes again. Steady your breathing. She told herself. Calm down.
Elpis then waved her hand.
She's back. Elpis heard the King's soft breathing, and knew that his eyes were still closed.
He must still be in there. That is the price he must pay.
