The look on Thor's face when he receives his brother's answer was one of disbelief.

"You 'ran around' the forest all night?" He asked in a flat tone.

"Yes, brother, I just said that." Loki said in a very sassy tone as usual.

"That's it?" Thor pressed.

A sigh left Loki as he was feeling rather done with this conversation. He stood up from where he was seated the small bump of a baby belly showing through.

"I told you that's all we did. Run around."

Thor seemed even more done at this point. He was used to the younger's lies but did Loki honestly think him that much of a fool to believe his words when the situation was so obvious.

"Run around, breathe air, and end up pregnant, Loki?" Thor said in a raised voice, his temper slowly slipping.

A Few Months Ago

"So again the plan is t---"

"Yes, yes, brother. Turn into a mare, lure the beast away keeping him distracted so you can go in kill the man and take all the credit as usual."

"I give credit where it's due."

"Yes but your father never sees it."

"Loki are we seriously having th---" Thor cut his sentence short when he shifted to face his brother and his elbow went through the hologram effectively causing it to dissipate.

A deep sigh left him and he looked off in to the distance seeing a mare disappearing into the darkness.Thor waited for what seemed like an eternity before he saw Loki luring Svaôilfari into the tree line of the surrounding forest his owner close in toe. Another heavy sigh leaves Thor. That wasn't apart of the plan but he never expected Loki to make it easy anyway. Giving chase, Thor stopped the man, who was a builder which Thor was sent to kill due to Loki's mishaps. After a small struggle Thor had the man on his back and, taking Mjöllnir in hand, smashed the mans skull into shards. With the ground now painted with the builder's blood, some even splattered on Thor's torso and face, he stood up calling out to his brother in the darkness. It wouldn't be until the next morning that Thor saw Loki again.

Present

"I don't see the all the fuss is, need I remind you I was the bait here and could have been killed or something. Besides, the plan still worked, regardless my doings. A man killed for doing as he was asked, a goddess was "saved" and the sun and moon still float in vast space with no owners. Everything is as it should be."

Thor couldn't argue with that.

"Well, I hope you intend to explain this..." Thor gestured to the younger's belly, "well enough to our father, brother."

Loki raised a finger to interrupt Thor's possible ongoing speech of doing right by Odin and all that nonsense.

"Your father."

Months Later

Much to his dismay pregnancy was harder than women made it look. Like was it even normal to want to eat grass all damn day? And he got huge! He looked like he swallowed a moon and never digested it. Don't even start on the fact that everything either had him crying or mad for no apparent reason. Regardless of all that he managed to stay in hiding, changing forms when he had to be out and about. He was hardly asked for by Odin so the secret wasn't hard to keep up until his mother found out. She apparently noticed Thor acting strange whenever going into or leaving Loki's chambers. And it caused alarm for the goddess, worrying that something may be wrong with her adoptive son.
The look of horror on Loki's face when he opened his chamber door fully ready to tell his brother to leave because they had been arguing only to see their mother there instead, and there was no hiding his belly at that point. She quickly forced her way in, making Loki back away into the room, and shut the door to keep her son from sight. He tried so hard to be standoffish with her but in the end he always gave in to her and he explained everything. From then on she would check up on him and comfort him where Thor was just so clueless.
The days went on and now today of all days he was having serious back pains and stomach pains, every pain accountable he was having them. He cried out as he paced his room not very sure what was going on. In a brief thought he figured maybe being a women instead would help him cope better. So he made the switch. Nope that did nothing. But in the moment Thor walked in to see his brother...well sister at the moment, doubled over a small writing desk in pain. He froze for a moment just staring before mumbling a quick "I'll fetch mother." and quickly left.
What seemed like an eternity before Thor was back, their mother rushing in as soon as she saw the state of Loki.
