You: An Art That Fade

Chapter 1

Chirping of birds in the morning, Beeping of cars in the street, People chitchatting and  the smells of paints. A usual morning to Lisa. As the beam of sunlight touches her still sleepy eyes, she is seems lost in her life.

Her phone ringing forced her to open her eyes fully. She reached her phone in the counter and answer without checking who it is.

"Lisayaaaah... Where are u? Lets grab some food yeah? Are u still sleeping? Are u okay? Why are u not answering?" Rosé bombarded Lisa with questions.

Lisa rolled her eyes before answering all questions this chipmunks threw to her
"How will i answer u if ur not giving me time to? I cant even remember whats your questions" Lisa answered lazily.

"Good thing ur fine. Anyways, ill state my questions later when we meet. So just get ur ass off and meet me after an hour. okay? Bye. Love you" Rosé hanged up.

"Wait, i ca-" Lisa didnt finished what she was saying.

"Great. She really knows how to make me agree" Lisa sighed and smile because of her bestfriend's silliness.

Rosè or Park Chaeyoung been Lisa's Bestfriend since they were in middle school. Rosé is a cheerful and kind person. She is a well- known singer in this country but despite her busy schedules she never fail to hang out with Lisa. No one can guess that Rosé the famous singer is the playful Chaeng when it comes to Lisa.

As soon as Lisa done preparing herself she immediately texted Chaeng. She was picking her car key when a painting hanging in her living room caught her attention. She stared at it and reminded of the days where she never leave a day without touching her brushes, where the smell of paints makes her smile and by just looking a blank canvass makes her heart flutter.

Back then, she thought that her life is all about paintings and stuff. But as she look herself now in front of this paintings she feel lost. She doesn't feel anything, she don't feel any warm in her heart. She feel like something is missing but she can't figure it out.

She was snapped in her moment when she feels a buzzing in her pocket. She pick her phone and saw a text from Rosé. She immediately pick the key and run down to her garage. She enter in her car and drove to address Rosé sent to her. As soon as she arrived, she park her car and make her way inside the restaurant.

She roam her sight inside the restaurant and landed it to a slim gorgeous blonde woman waving at her in the corner. She immediately make her way to Rosé which welcome her with a tight embrace.

"Thank God, i thought u will be here next year. I've been here forever" Rosè stated while dramatically wiping her imaginary tears.

"Ha ha Funny" Lisa responded.
"Your really has no fun in ur body, did i told u that before?" Rosé while crossing her arms together.
" As far as I can remember. Countless times and my responce will always be the same I STILL DONT CARE" Lisa, emphasizing every words to chaeng.

Rosé rolled her eyes "Whatever, So?"
Lisa stared at Rosè waiting what may be the important thing she will say.

"What are we going to order?" eyes sparkling and smiling widely while stating her questions.

Lisa face palmed herself.
" I should have known it would be that questions. I almost forgot that your food is important than anything in this world. Im preparing myself anytime u will shock me with a news that u will marrying ur food." Lisa sarcastically stated.

"Well, im open with the idea. Hihi" Rosé.

While exchanging their how are you's and the never fading teases between them ever since. They settle when their foods has been served.

Lisa glanced at Rosé who are now enjoying her food.
"Now, this is what i called my silent life" Lisa chuckled that receive a glare from Rosé.

"Be thankful that the food are goods. Hmmmm. this is so delicious" Rosé

After emptying all their plates, Rosé suddenly speak " So, what are you up to now?"

"Did u called me here to asked me that question? U among people should know" Raising her eyebrow to Rosé.

"For once can u just answer like " Im doing fine, im up to creating new piece",  that would be better right?" Rosé

Sighed. "You know, the usual" Lisa stated.
Rosé nodded. "But...." that caught Rosè and intently waiting what Lisa will say.

"Lately, i dont know. I happened not to be fond anymore with brushes, paints and canvass" Lisa stated.

"What?? What are u saying Lisa? This is what your dream. I am a witness of how you suffer just to achieved ur dreams" Rosé

"I know thats why im telling u that i dont know what is happening. Even me cant explain why does im feeling this way" Lisa while combing her hair with her fingers frustratedly.

"Tell me exactly what is happening?" Rosè hold Lisa's hand.

"i dont know, i just woke up one morning and i dont feel anymore the warm and flame im feeling when im seeing my works and materials. I feel lost chaeng. I feel like something is missing but you know what frustrates me more? Is i cant figure out what is that missing piece im looking for" Lisa telling Rosé while a tear escaped her left eye.

Rosé hug Lisa "Shhhh, hush now. Everything will be alright. Im always be here. I will help you to figure this things out"

"Thanks Chaeng you are the best" Lisa while wiping her tears.

"Of course, As long as you will pay my meal everytime." Lisa glare to Rosé.

Gesturing a peace sign "Just Kidding. You know im always be by your side in every decision you will make. Thats what bestfriends should do." Rosé smiled.

Lisa smile to Rose. Lisa feel so great knowing her bestfriend will always be her side. She is very thankful that despite of cat & dog relationship with Rosé she can't deny that she is lucky to have her as a friend.

Will I able to find that missing piece?
Lisa questioned herself.
