Petalbreeze was taken aback by the shocking news, but didn't show it.
"Well, how can I help?" Petalbreeze asked.
"Oh-I-um,was hoping you'd received an omen," replied her leader.
"I'm afraid not, but i'd suggest you put some thought into possible candidates," advised Petalbreeze.
"What would I do without you?" chuckled Leafstar.
"Turn us into Thunderclan," Petalbreeze joked
A dark prophecy clouded her thoughts, "Warriors will fall, and before this all, darkness will appear". It was a life-altering prophecy, but Petalbreeze couldn't bring herself to say anything. Would Leafstar really want to know of a prophecy she barely understood herself? If she didn't say anything, it could be catastrophic for her clan.
"Petalbreeze can I come in now?' asked Rosethorn indignantly.
"Of course," replied Petalbreeze,
"You know you need to tell Leafstar, even though it is quite embarrassing," commented Rosethorn
"When did my apprentice become wiser than me?" asked Petalbreeze
"When you lost faith in yourself," responded Rosethorn.
