"I am so excited for my birthday! Now that I am finally going to be a teenager maybe my parents would let treat me like it. Hopefully they'll start letting me wear make up or trust me more. Well I have to go to bed now, so goodnight diary."--

I woke up in the morning a little tired from not being able to sleep from being too excited. As I was getting ready I imagined everything when I walked into school, everybody wanting invitations, girls asking me what my dress was going to look like.I knew I would be popular after my party.
"Come on, you dont want to be late for school again". I then realized it'd had been about ten minutes of me daydreaming. I grabbed my backpack and went down the stairs. I quickly made my way into the car and we pulled out of the driveway on our way to school. I listened to the radio and hummed along to the music during the short ride to school.
I got so excited as I got out of the car, I put my hand on the handle to the door. I opened it and walked to homeroom. As I sat down, I wondered why kids were not huddled around me asking for invites. I thought they did not want to do it in front of the teacher, and I just shrugged it off.
As the bell rang and I got out of the classroom, there it was, the huddle. Except it was around someone else. I then tried to get in the huddle, only to see Chloe handing out invitations to her birthday party. We have the same birthday, and I totally hated her! Every time I handed out my invitations so did she. Her parties were always cooler than mine, but some of my close friends always came. But I panned this years party so well so it was definitely going to be better than hers!

When I tried to get a better look, the kids all pushed me out of the huddle; I sighed and walked off. By the end of the day, I handed out invitations. Some of the kids did not accept it because they were already going to Chloes party. I walked out the door and made my way home not knowing my life was about to change.
