"No!" Hyejoo screamed as she awoke, she looked around thinking she woke a sleeping guard next door but instead was met by her old oak wooden door facing her.
She looked petrified, she hasn't been in this room for over almost 2 years how- That's when it hit her.
Hyejoo frantically searched for her phone. Grasping the sheets around her in despair. Finally after gliding her fingers around searching for a familiar rectangular shape, she found it.
She quickly opened her phone to be met with the date:
Friday, June 3
And once again after fiddling with her phone to get to her calculator she found the year that disturbed her to her core.
2016
She almost threw her phone out the window after reading that. She was too petrified, she couldn't believe what she was seeing and didn't know if she was even alive.
She remembered what she had said last night, if it was even last night. Should she be calling it the future?
But it wasn't the future, Hyejoo made it her goal to not become a criminal. Made it her goal not to hurt Chaewon and to find her and give her a good life, not the crappy one she had to put her through.
But where to start? She never knew where Chaewon lived before. All she knew was that the girl did live in Seoul, so well that's a good start right?
She quickly got up and changed, her style hadn't really changed but her old style was a bit more edgier than her new one, so she just went with a plain white shirt, some black jeans, and a bomber jacket.
She walked out of her door and went on to search... In search for her beloved, who wouldn't even know her.

Hello!! Sorry for the long wait, I've been focused on this last week of my school before summer break but we have not been doing much so I decided to update since I have some spare time at the moment! 🤗
Also sorry if this was bad and short :/ It's currently about to be midnight and I have school tomorrow, I'll probably update tomorrow though so I guess it will make up for this short chapter?
