Dear Dairy,
Today has been good in a way. Normal, I went to my classes, came home, and went on with my day. The only thing out of the ordinary would be that today is the second to last day of school! Other than that my day was the same as any other day i've had this year.
Signed,
Jennabel Burningham
"Mom! I'm done writing in my journal, can i go out on the skateboard?" I yell.
"Ok but first a question, number one I would like to read your journal," Mom says walking into my room with a smile. She takes it away from me gently and starts reading," This is very nice Jennabel but are you sure nothing out of the ordinary happened today?" I don't respond to her in hopes she gets the point. "Okay then, I suppose that means nothing more happened today. Very well. Go ride the skateboard until diner."
"Thanks mom!" I say running down the stairs. I hop on and concentrate on getting it to go how I want. The frame is small but not too small and the color is blue, differently colored that mom's eyes. Oh how pretty they are deep blue eyes just like the ocean, her naturally perfect ash brown hair that falls effortlessly when needed and goes perfectly up in a messy bun when she is working. Mom herself is fantastic too, so beautiful and even her name suits her, Collien Burningham. Then dad's name, Jamison Burningham. Perfect match they are nothing much in common with looks but personality wise they couldn't be better. Thats why I look like I do, Ash brown hair like mom, dad's hair is a much darker brown. My eyes I got from dad, emerald green.
Then my height is a mixture, just between mom's 5 foot 6 inches and dad's 5 foot 10 inches, 5 foot 7 inches would be my height, not a skyscraper nor an ant, a perfect size for me.
Then it hits me, the ground. I seemed to have not been paying much attention to what I was doing because I managed to have my skateboard go about 3 meters away from me, upside down, and since I was not wearing a helmet it was inside. On the bright side of things I landed in a patch of grass. I am going to blame my luck on the fact I am going to be having my 16th birthday in a little over a month on July 17th. As I sat pondering upon how I got to be over here and how amazing my birthday will be, my head started to feel like it was throbbing but I couldn't understand why. I hadn't landed on my head had I? I couldn't remember if I had or not, I couldn't remember anything since i got on the board. Everything got dark in my view and realized something was very wrong.
