Jess drew in a deep breath and pressed the doorbell. She could hear the ding sound from inside and Dhruv's loud laugh. She missed all of this. All those innocent days. It took about three seconds for the door to burst open and a large body engulfed her.

"She's here!" Anu sang and dragged her inside keeping a firm hold on her shoulder afraid she will run away.

Anu had a decent place. The walls were painted a light shade of gold and the yellow lights gave a warm feeling. Anu had called in the morning on changing the location to her house. Jess was more than glad because she didn't have to travel to the another part of the city to Dhruv's house.

A loud laugh boomed from the living room as they approached. Dhruv sat on a large couch and was laughing at something told by the man sitting opposite him. The back of his head bounced as they continued to chat. It took about a moment for Dhruv to notice her and his eyes shined. "Jessy! You are finally here!" , he got up from his chair and came forward to hug him " I have missed you so much."

Jess grew uncomfortable at his contact but to be honest she missed it. She hugged him back and looked over to the stranger who was staring at her. A pair of dark eyes looked at her, his lips curving at the end. He had dark hair trimmed at the sides unlike Dhruv who had long hair. His face was structured and nothing about him looked childish. He was probably older than them. His eyes moved from her face to her toes and she felt strange shiver run through her.

"This is Siddharath," Anu stated "the one I said I met on Meet Up. He works at Info as an accountant." Jess faked a smile at him. She didn't trust this guy at all. Anu then turned to Siddharath and continued, " Sid, this is Jessy. My best friend. She lives in RM street and has finished her B com .Anyway you guys chat let me refill this bowl." ,she left the room.

Jess was uncomfortable. She didn't like new people. Dhruv asked about her whereabouts and she answered with only minimal answers. She could feel his eyes on her all the time making her skin crawl. She hated it, the attention. But moreover she was confused. How did this stranger gain so much trust from Anu. She had a very bad feeling about this situation.

"So what is the plan?" Dhruv asked when Anu returned. She grew excited at that as if she was waiting for someone to ask her.

"Okay! So here is the plan. We will leave on 27th of this month. I have booked the train tickets already and we will reach by next morning. We then head straight to the resort my uncle owns. Take that day to explore and eat out. And for the next day, I got a surprise for everyone." she clapped, " any doubts?"

No one said anything. Anu wore a satisfied grin and the rest of the evening went on with useless chatters. When it was almost 8, Jess stood up to leave lying she has to go to college tomorrow for something.  Anu lead her towards the door away from the guys. Just before Jess reached the door, she turned around and asked her burning question, " Anu, are you sure of that guy?"

"Pakka girl, I am damn sure. He is clean."

Jess once again peeked to the living room before giving a forced smile and left.
