You are everything

I was tutoring Renesmee with her long division. She is struggling with it Bella on the other hand is out shopping with Alice for new seasonal clothes. I just don't get it with Alice's spending plans. "Daddy is this correct?" She asked me I look at it and a few mistakes. "Well done honey you got 4 out of 8 questions correct." I said giving her courage to do it again. "Hmmm" "Something wrong Renesmee?" "I want to try and get all correct but I just keep fail." She pouted. "Oh dear, you just need more practice and you will be better at this." She still does'nt look at me. "But than I will be stupid and you won't like me." It broke my heart she thinks that way. "Hey now. You are not stupid okay. You just need to try and try. Besides I will love you no matter what." She still did'nt look impress. "Let's go I will be taking you somewhere." I said holding her hand and run vampire speed.

We arrive at Chicago my home and how much I missed this place "Daddy why are we in Chicago ?" She asked me "This is where I was born and my home is here. Let's walk around." She grabs my hand and walks around the small town. We then walk towards a pathway that leads to an abandoned small village. It was for tourists to see the life in the village on 1900's. I saw my old school. "This was my school. I remember my hardest time right here but I managed." "Daddy? What's your hardest moment here?" I look at her. "My hardest moment is that I didn't get satisfaction from my father because of my grade that time. I wasn't smart at the first day in this school. This school is one of the most best schools it's for high education students. At my old school I was top 1 with my grade but then when he moved me here it keeps getting harder because many students are very smart." I answered and suddenly I have flashbacks. Those moments I was new, not really want to talk to people, just surrounded myself woth books. "Daddy, is your dad strict ?" I nodded and smile. "Doesn't he love you?  Why would he be mad just because you are not the smart one ?" She asked me with curiosity.  I kneel down and said to her "My father is strict with me because he wants me to have a great life. Hence he does love me. He always prepared almost everything for me. He sends me to the best school because he wants me to be intelligent, he sends me to piano class because he knows I love music and sometimes he always taught me few things about lawyers because he wants me to understand what I should be having as a career. Even sometimes I keep thinking he is strict but he loves me so dearly."

We both walk to the craved rock with the names of people who died in spanish influenza.  I saw both of my parents names and my name. I just can't cope with my own name craved on it even though I'm still alive or kinda. "Is this your dad?" She asked pointing at the name Edward Masen Senior. I smile and touch my father's name. "Yes this is his name. He named me after him too." She looks at me "Daddy, are you crying?" I dry my eyes. "Uh I missed them so much. If only they could meet you, and mummy. They would love both of you." She hugged me "I think I know them cause you told me a lot about them." I hugged her tightly. 

We went home and she cleans up her work books.  "Renesmee dear, do you know why I brought you to my hometown? " she thinks hard "Because you want me to know that not everyone is smart?" I nodded "Yes but I also want you to know that I love you no matter what you do. I will never stop loving you sweetheart. Remember that okay?" She smile and hug me "I love you too daddy." "Okay go on clean up the table." She continues on and I went into Bella and my bedroom. I took an old box from the closet floor where I hid. It was a photograph of my parents, my father's lawyer card and his letter that he wrote 2 days before he passed away.

My dearly son Edward,
         
         I have been sick for the past 2 weeks and I thought maybe I should write this. Edward I'm sorry I've been so strict on you. I hope you know why. I want you to be the best man where many would know. I know you could be a great man even better than me.  I know once you will be a father you will be a great father to your children.

My dear Edward, please take care of your mother once I am gone. Please spend more time with your mother and your own wife and children that you will have. My biggest regret is that I've been working so hard and being home late night. I wish I know you better because all I know about you is you are a great pianist,  smart young boy, nice looking gentlemen and a responsible young man. I wish you know how much you mean to me.

Edward, I love you so much. On the day you were born I was a proud father and I thanked you by making me a great father. On the day you said your first word I knew you are the smartest baby I know. But when I argue with you, I know that I might become a worst father but when you apologies for it I know you will be a fair man.

My son Edward, you are everthing to me. I will do anything for you my son. I love you Edward.

I read the later and just stood on the bed frozen and starting to sob softly. I miss him so dearly and I wish he could see how I am doing with my life. "I'm home." Bella arrived I put it away quickly and go to the living room and saw Renesmee hugging her. 'Father if you could see me right now, I am what you want me to be. A great father spending time with my wife and my child.' I thought and walk towards her and kiss her passionately "Oh wjat was that for ?" She asked smiling "I just missed you dear. You two wanna go to the meadow and play a game?" I asked the two of my girls they nodded and we vampire speed there. The three of us just play tag and hide and seek until Renesmee gets tired. I carry her to her bedroom and changed her into her pajamas. She goes to sleep and I kiss her forhead and whispers 'You are everything to me.'
