Zoe, a 17 year old girl from Oklahoma, had everything a girl her age could want. At least, until she met Brandon Stamford.
Zoe attended a small church inside her hometown. She didn't have many friends. Her closest two were Alice and Janae.
One day, a new boy showed up at youth. His name was Brandon. Zoe immediately fell in love with his dazzling green eyes. Zoe knee she had to introduce herself. Problem was, she was horrible at talking to new people. She asked Janae to introduce her. Janae agreed.
They walked up to where Brandon was sitting.
"Zoe this is Brandon, Brandon this is Zoe. Have fun." She said, smiling, as she walked off.
Zoe nervously fixed her short, brown hair. Finally, Brandon asked,
"How long have you been at this church?"
"All my life." Zoe replied. "What made you join youth?" she asked.
"My mom moved us to a church closer to our new house. She said youth would be good for me."
Zoe smiler, Brandon did too.
"Would you maybe want to grab coffee with me?" Brandon asked.
Zoe's heart stopped. She hesitated because she didn't think it was real. Finally, she said,
"Of course I would!" she replied.
Brandon wrote his phone number on a piece of paper, and gave it to Zoe.
"See you then." he said before walking off.

Zoe and Brandon spent weeks texting, calling, and going out. They went to the movies they went bowling. They were inseparable. They made their relationship official 3 weeks in.
"Hey" Zoe texted.
"Hey" Brandon replied.
"Would you like to go to a movie this weekend?"
"Of course"
It was a date.
Brandon picked Zoe up that night. The movie wasn't super long, so they picked up food after.
Brandon walked Zoe to her door.
"Zoe wait." he said before Zoe entered the house. Zoe turned, and looked at her boyfriend.
"Zoe, I know I met you only a month ago, but I felt this weird connection when we met. Like I had always known you. Like we were meant to be together. What I'm trying to say is, I love you, Zoe"
Zoe paused.
"You mean that?" she asked.
"Every word."
"I love you too, Brandon.
The two shared their first kiss that night.

A few weeks later, Brandon took Zoe to a small party at his friends house. There weren't too many people there, and definitely no alcohol.
Zoe and Brandon has an amazing time dancing together.
At one, they decided to leave. Brandon drove, while Zoe rode with him.
They were driving through a four way stop, when a car crashed into the car. Both of them went unconscious.
They were quickly rushed to the hospital. Both were put in the ICU.
Zoe has suffered a brain injury, and Brandon into a coma. Doctors weren't sure they'd ever wake up.

Weeks past, no change. Both were moved to their own hospital rooms. Zoe in 423, and Brandon in 427.
Their families never left. Not once. Only to get clothes and food.
The doctors were worried that they'd never wake up. They tried everything, but nothing worked.
Finally, Zoe's sister said,
"I have a crazy idea. Try putting them together. Where they can feel one another's presence."
The doctors weren't sure if they should, but they did.
They brought Brandon into Zoe's room. He placed Brandon's hand on Zoe's.
Nothing.
The doctors and family were about to give up when both Zoe and Brandon woke up
Their families cried tears of joy. Doctors were amazed.
Zoe looked around, Brandon did the same
"Where are we?" Zoe asked
"You were in a car accident a few weeks back."
Zoe looked over to where Brandon was.
"Brandon?" she whispered.
"Yes, Darling?"
"I love you."
"I love you too."

And from that day on, the two were never separated again. And one day, Zoe would become Mrs. Stamford.
