Just A Façade

You put up a façade, faking a smile,

Or you hide your face so he can't see the pain that isn't so easily hidden as you believe it to be.

Your heart clenches, reminding you, he's still happy while your left weeping in sorrow.

He was the glue keeping the pieces together

But when you needed him most,

He let go & the pieces fell, shattering like fine china.
