[Chapter 8]

Y/n's POV

We reached my house and my mom helped me to carry those bags that we bought.

I entered my room with mom following me from behind, she placed the bags on my fur couch and turned to me and talked,

"Hey sweetie, I gotta go, I need to pack my belongings for the trip in Korea." She said

"Okay then, mom." I said.

"Oh and by the way, Mom, will you lend this to Taehyung? Tell him it's a gift for taking care of me." I said and gave the bag to her.

"Aww, you're so sweet! Don't worry, I'll make sure to give it to Taehyung." She replied with a wide smile drawn on her face before she cuddled me tight on her arms.

"I love you, sweetie." Mom said

"I love you too, Mom." I said and she broke the hug.

"Well, I should be going now, I guess, see you after 2 months?" She said

"Yeah."

"Bye sweetie!" Mom said and kissed my cheek.

"Bye." I said and she was gone.

I smiled without me knowing while I go straight to the bathroom to take a shower before a sleep.

{After Taking a Shower}

I wore a soft pajamas and jumped on my bed to sleep.

{The next day}
[5:36am]

Still Y/n's POV

I slowly opened my eyes at a slow pace, hearing the bird's chirping. Soon, I am fully awake, I stood up and go to the bathroom to wash up my face. I walked downstairs to the kitchen so I can have a mini breakfast that my new cook made.

The breakfast was a well-cooked brown waffle with chocolate and white icing on top, matched with a hot chocolate drink.

While eating peacefully, a voice suddenly appeard behind making me jump in shock,

"Ma'am?" He said

"Oh my God, Jackson! Don't you ever scare me like that." I said

"Minhae-yo, Ma'am." Jackson said with a small chuckle.

"I just wanted to say that Mr. President has putted a huge amount of money in this credit card that now was yours." He said and handed me the card while I took it.

"I know that Mr. President already told you that you are going to attend your school starting next week. You need to buy some school supplies from this week, just call me if you need to go and buy some, I'll drive you." He explained for exactly 3 minutes.

"Yes, I get it." I replied and continued eating.

"May you excuse me." Jackson said and bowed making his way to the door.

After eating, I decided to have a shower and go to the mini park which located on my neighborhood.

I sat down on the black swing and looked at the nature of how beautiful and peaceful it was. The bright sun, the green trees surrounded with dried leaves on the ground.

I swang the swing slightly, while looking somewhere else, I saw an ice cream truck with kids buying some. I noticed I am sweating so I decided to buy some.

I stand up on the line and waited until it's my turn.

"Hi Ma'am, what flavor do you want for your ice cream?" The man who look so young asked me.

"Hi, I would like to order some cookies and cream ice cream and please add some cookies and chocolates at the top." I said in English.

"Okay, please wait for a minute and I will serve your ice cream on time." He said and smiled.

I nodded in respond and sat on a bench beside the truck and waited.

While looking at some stuffs, a footsteps were heard coming closer,

"Ma'am? Here is your ice cream."The young man said as I took it carefully not wanting it to drop.

"Thank you, how much is it?" I asked

"You don't need to, it's on me." He said making me shock.

"Really? No, you gotta be kidding! I must pay, here." I said as I hand him a $10, but he still didn't take it, instead he push my hand away slightly.

"No, please, this is on me for being so kind." He said

"Fine." I said giving up.

"By the way, I'm Kim Yugyeom." He said and lend his hand for a handshake.

"I'm Kim Y/n." I said as I return the handshake.

"How old are you by the way?" I asked curiously.

"Well, I'm 18, how bout you?" He said

"I'm 17." I said.

"Um, by any chance are you Korean?" He asked.

"Yeah, why did you know?" I asked

"Cause you look like one." He said and chuckled.

"You look like one two, are you?" I asked.

"Neh, I am." He said as he speak in the language Korean.

"Oh, yeah. I gotta go, I need to buy my school supplies." I said standing up and waved at him.

"Yeah, sure." He said and waved back.

I started walking on my way home.
