Chapter 5

"How can you be so sure it's human?" Jungkook asked Taehyung with a bit of sass. "Just trust me, alright?" Taehyung said as he slowly and gently walked out with it. Yoongi looked down at it as Taehyung showed it to him. "There isn't any moss on it or anything. I think it hasn't been in the water long." Taehyung said.

Yoongi gently picked it up and inspected it. "Well... I um.. the bone... if... fuck." Yoongi said before he handed it back to Taehyung and ran in to the forest. Taehyung looked over at Jungkook. "Can you check on him?" Jungkook nodded before he got out and ran after Yoongi. Taehyung went and gently placed the hand on Yoongi's notebook. He ran back down and dived in. He swam over to Hoseok.

"You okay?" Taehyung asked him. Hoseok slowly shook his head. "Get out then." Namjoon walked over and took Hoseok's hand. "It'll be okay." Namjoon told him as they got and walked back up the hill. Jimin swam over to Taehyung. "What are you doing?" Taehyung looked at him and furrowed his eyebrows. "Looking for the rest." Taehyung said nonchalantly.

Jimin sighed and spoke low. "Babe, we should go to the police. They can take care of this...." Taehyung scoffed. "No offense to Yoongi, but his father won't do shit. Especially if I tell him. He'll probably blame it on me or my dad!" Jimin sighed out. "Then I'd have to come visit you behind bars." Jimin mumbled. Taehyung nodded. "We should at least find as much as we can. Maybe we can drop the bones off somewhere. Maybe if I find the skull or the jaw with the teeth still intact they can identify them."

Jimin sighed again. "Alright, you look over there, I'll go over here. We might have to go up stream." Taehyung turned and watched as Yoongi walked back and wiped his eyes. "You okay?!" Taehyung shouted. Yoongi nodded before he sniffled and looked around. "Where is it?" Taehyung cringed a bit. "Sorry! I kind of set it on top of your notebook!" Yoongi sighed. "Did you look inside of it?" "No!" Yoongi nodded before he stopped moving and looked back upstream. "TAEHYUNG!"

Taehyung got out followed by Jimin. "What?" Yoongi looked up at him. "We have to go back to where we fell in." Taehyung furrowed his eyebrows before they raised. "Shit. Shouldn't I look for the rest?" Yoongi nodded. "Later..." Taehyung nodded back before he took Yoongi's hand and took off. The others all followed behind. "Yoongi, do you remember-" "Right there." Yoongi said as he pointed to the spot.

Taehyung sighed before he looked around at his friends. He jumped in and carefully felt around with his foot. "I don't feel anything." Yoongi jumped in and positioned Taehyung before he stood in front of him. "Okay, do what you did before." Taehyung looked up at Jimin before he looked at Yoongi. Yoongi sighed as he saw the look in Taehyung's eyes. "Like you were because I pissed you off for a second." Taehyung nodded before he started to move.

Yoongi moved back, but stopped before his heel could go down. "I found it." Taehyung took one last look at his friends before he went under and felt down Yoongi's leg until he felt it. He grabbed it and came back up. He kept it under the water. "Get out." He told Yoongi. Yoongi walked over to the edge. The others all helped him up. He turned and looked at Taehyung. "Well... what is it?"

Taehyung looked away before he pulled it out of the water. Hoseok screamed as the others all gasped. "He looks about eight years old..." Jimin said. Taehyung turned away and blinked away a couple tears. He walked over to his friends with the body in his arms. They all took a step back. "STOP BEING PUSSIES AND HELP ME!" Taehyung shouted.

Yoongi, Jimin and Jungkook all took the body from Taehyung as he climbed out. "Can we call the police now?!" Jimin asked. Taehyung crouched down and gently turned the boy's body onto his stomach. "They hog tied him." Taehyung said. "And they put his pants on backwards... god... people are so fucked up."

Hoseok ran to throw up. "Guys, We should really go." Namjoon said. "I still haven't found the other bones." Taehyung said. Jimin stared at him. "Taehyung! I think this dead body with rotting flesh on it is enough!" Taehyung waved him off. "Has anyone looked at his face yet?"

Yoongi watched as Taehyung turned the boy back over. They all waiting for Taehyung to move the boy's hair back. "He's got really long hair... maybe it's a girl." Jungkook said. Taehyung sighed. "If any of you have a weak stomach, I'd advise you to walk away now." Taehyung said. Hoseok looked at Namjoon. "I don't want to be alone." Taehyung watched and waited till they were far enough away to move back the hair.

Jungkook ran his fingers through his hair and walked away. Jimin began to tear up as he turned away. Yoongi stared at it. "They bashed their face in." Taehyung pointed to the sides that had been attached to the face. "Then, they cut the face off and gutted them like a pumpkin."

Yoongi began to cry, tackling Taehyung down and wrapping his arms around Taehyung's neck. He began to cry into Taehyung's neck as Taehyung held him. Jimin started to cry as well. "Yoongi... We should get your dad down here." Taehyung said. Namjoon came back and looked around at his friends. "So, did you find out if it was a girl or boy?" Taehyung sighed before he leaned over and quickly checked.

"G- wait..." Taehyung moved Yoongi for a moment before he pulled the pants down further. "I have no clue... it's a mess.. I don't see an obvious hole where the penis would be, nor can I tell if there was a vagina..." Namjoon looked down. "SHIT! There... there's no-" "Face." Taehyung finished. Jungkook walked back over. "We should leave. Now! Go get Yoongi's dad and let them handle it!" Jungkook said.

Namjoon nodded. "We can find somewhere else to hang out-" Namjoon quickly shut his mouth as they heard rustling from the bushes across the creek. "Go!" Taehyung whispered before he picked Yoongi up and ran into the forest. "Hoseok! What if he comes back looking for us?!" Namjoon asked in a whisper. "SHIT!" Taehyung shouted quietly. Taehyung looked at Jungkook. You run the fastest... wait. Has my sister not been with us this whole time?"

The other boys looked around as they also realized that she wasn't with them. Taehyung walked back out. "Dahyun!" He shouted. Jungkook walked out. "Last time I saw her, she was going to go to the bathroom..." Taehyung started to begin to panic. Yoongi walked out. "Jungkook and Jimin will stay and look for her in the woods together. Do not spilt up. Namjoon and Hoseok can go in town and look for her. Taehyung, you and I will go back to your house before we go get my dad, okay? Do you guys know where I live?" Jimin nodded.

"You don't live far from me." Yoongi sighed. "Okay.. Taehyung, help me out the body exactly where we found it. Taehyung shook his head. "We can't just leave them-" "TAEHYUNG! Snap out of it and listen to me! We have to or else we'll get in trouble." Yoongi said. Taehyung blinked a couple times before he nodded. Yoongi grabbed his arms and looked into his eyes. "Don't worry, Taehyung. We'll find her, alive. Okay?"
