You had just recently moved to new jersey for college. You were out walking trying to find your way around so you don't get lost on the way to campus. You are starting to get hungry so you decide to find a place to eat.
You soon came upon a cafe, you decided to eat there. You walked in and the waiter sat you down at your table.
"Hello, welcome to falcon cafe. Can i start you out with a drink?" The waiter asked you with a notepad and pen in hand.
"Uhhh? Sure I'll have a diet coke please." You ordered. He wrote down your drink and walked off.
After a while your drink arrived and you ordered your food, which was a burger. While you were waiting for your food to arrive a young man came up to you.
"Hello, I'm ethan. I've never seen you round here before and i just wanted to introduce myself."
"Hi! Im y/n" you introduced yourself as well.
"So y/n what has you in new jersey, love?"
"Why should i tell you? Your a stranger" you smirked up at him.
"Because i could be your trusty tour guide, but you don't seem to want me..."
He carried out his words slowly turning around.
"Wait ethan! I might actually take that offer." You smiled, which caused ethan to turn around smiling.
"Great! Can i sit with you, then i can show you around after we eat??" He asked pointing to the empty seat opposite you.
"Sure!" You replied. He sat down in the seat that he was pointing at.
Soon your food came and they bought his food out as well, seeing as he was sitting with you now.
"You ready for the tour of new jersey" he questioned, as you both had finished eating.
You nod your head and got up to pay, ethan was right behind you. You were getting out your purse but before you could pay yourself, ethan beat you to it and paid for both of your meals.
"Ethan?! Why did you do that? I could've paid for my own food!" You exclaimed in shock, of his kindness.
"Consider it as a welcome to new jersey gift" ethan said as he gave you a toothy grin.
After you left the cafe, ethan showed you around the town. You couldn't believe the kindness ethan showed while showing you around. You knew you'd be seeing him again and not because you live in the same place.
