THE MALFUNCTION
As I was helping some of the kids the place went dark everyone scared to panic scared as the front doors opens.
"Everyone calm down and stay here everything is ok" I said not believing my words as I walked over to the door and looked out to the snowy cold abyss we were in the middle of nowhere in snow up to my knees without power and nowhere else to go but out to the cold.
I was scared like everyone else and tried to find the other oldest person here to help me but I couldn't. Just as I sat down to calm down a fire started on the top floor and I see a boy helping get everyone down and out the building I got up and went to pack as much food and water as I could and got it out to the group.
Our home was gone we were cold and didn't know where to go from here so we just started walking.
We walked all night then all day till we needed to sleep we found a place under two big trees and everyone cuddled together for warmth and I sat against one of the trees to think. As I was thinking to myself I saw that boy again but this time he was walking over to me and sat by me.
"You know you should be sleeping with the group and staying warm" he said as I look at him
"Says the boy who I don't even know" I said as he looked at me
"Im mason the only other nineteen year old here and your jimalu the cute girl I always saw reading when she finely got time to herself when she wasn't helping everyone else" I look away as he said cute and blushed lightly
"Well nice to meet you mason"
"Same to you jimalu"
We both smiled and ended up falling asleep next to each other keeping us warm. He is nicer then I thought he would be and cute to.
