Lunch Date Chat

(The next day)

Tori wakes up and heads downstairs for her victory breakfast. She sees her Mom cooking her favorite. "Morning, Mom." Tori greeted. "Morning, Tori. I hope you're hungry." Her mother said. "I'm starving. After that fight, I could chow down to some good food ever since training started." Tori tells her Mom. "Well, have a seat. It's just about ready." She tells Tori. She does so and as she does, her phone dings. "Who's texting you this early?" Her mother asked her daughter. "I don't know." Tori answers and went to check it. She then sees that Jade had texted her. "It's Jade." Tori tells her Mom and sees the text.

"Hey, babe. I hope you slept well. And if you're up for it, I would like to take you out to lunch at Nozu today since we didn't have time yesterday." Jade texted.

"Awwwwww." Tori said as she read her text. "What did she want?" Her mother asked her as she set down Tori's breakfast. "Oh. She wanted to take me out to lunch today since we didn't spend time last night." Tori tells her mom. "Lunch? Where to?"  Holly asked her daughter. "Nozu." Tori informs her mother. "Where you had your first date with her." She said jokingly. "Mom!" Tori whined. "So can I go?" She asked her mother. "Of course you can honey. You need to spend time with Jade." Holly said. "Thanks Mom." Tori thanked and quickly texted Jade,

"I would love to go with you to Nozu. Pick me up?" Tori replied

"I'll be there at 12:00." Jade replied in an instant

Tori then smiled and puts her phone down and goes back to enjoy her breakfast. During that time, her Dad, David Vega, comes down to have his morning coffee. "There's my winning daughter." He said as he hugs her while she's eating. "I'm so proud of you Tori. You're going to have a great season this year. That undefeated season is in the bag. You'll be the first Vega to do that." David said as he brews his coffee. "Dad, you don't know if I will stay undefeated. Those other girls are as tough as me and they want that title." Tori reminded her Dad. "She's not wrong, David. Those women are tough in the ring." Holly sided with Tori. "I know and you both are right, but you have to admit that Tori has trained so hard, she can just easily win this season and that championship." David said. Both girls just shook their heads out of amusement and they all enjoy their breakfast in peace. 

(At 12:00pm)

They hear the front door knocked. "Come on in. It's open." Holly called out and Jade entered in. "Hi, Mrs. Vega." Jade greeted. "Hi, Jade. Good to see you." Holly greeted. "Is Tori ready?" Jade asked. "Just finishing up. Please have a seat and she'll be down in a second." Holly tells her. Jades thanks her and sits properly on the sofa. "So, how was your night last night, Jade?" Holly asked. "It was nice. I hung out with the guys and we watched the CFC fight last night." Jade answered. "Really? I didn't know you like that kind of sport." Holly said surprised. "Oh, yeah. I think women who are tough and can fight are the kind of women we need these days." Jade explained. "I couldn't agree more." Holly agreed. They hear footsteps descends down the stairs and they see Tori dressed in her casual purple top and tight jeans and her boots and a jaded green cardigan. "Wow, Tori. You look amazing." Jade complimented. "Well, since it's just you and me, I wanted to look nice for my lady as much as I can for lunch." Tori explained. "Well, you're beautiful no matter what." Jade complimented. They headed out and made it to Nozu where they sit at the booth. They order their drinks and their lunch. As while they were waiting for their order, they just chatted.

"Jade. I want to apologize that I couldn't be with you last night to watch the CFC fight." Tori said to her girlfriend. "It's okay. It was still a good night with the boys. Andre was really interested in it." Jade accepted the apology. "Andre? My best friend?" Tori asked surprised. "Yeah. Well, think about it for a moment." Jade reminded her. "True. Guys always love seeing women fight other women." Tori said. "Btw, we found something surprising last night at the fight during Shelby Marx's fight." Jade tells her. Tori just froze in shock. "What kind of surprise?" Tori asked carefully. "We spotted two people that looks exactly like your parents watching Shelby fight her opponent. And we were wondering why would they be there if they were suppose to be at an important event than see a fight." Jade tells Tori. 'Oh no. They probably know the truth.' Tori said to her thoughts. "Tori. We came to realized that you're her. Is it true?" Jade asked her girlfriend even though she knows the answer already. Tori just slumped her head and nod weakly. "Yes, Jade. I am Shelby Marx." She answered. She waited to see if Jade was going to yell at her and break up, but to Tori's surprise, Jade is calm. "Why aren't you yelling at me?" Tori asked Jade. "Because I found out by Trina and she told me that you were willing to give it all up for me. And she told me not to be mad, which I can't be towards you. You're impossible to hate." Jade explained. Tori just smiled and takes the Goth's hand. "I do anything for you, Jade. I love you." Tori tells her girlfriend. "And I love you, Tori. I don't want you to give it all up for me. Do it when you think is right. And when it happens, I will be there." Jade tells her. She then kisses Tori's hand. "Jade, I did wanted to tell you but my parents would think it would be bad for my image if the media would see me with a random girl." Tori tells her. "Well, last night, after I talked with Trina, I came up with an idea. What if I disguised myself as a new CFC fighter so I can be with you?" Jade tells her girlfriend. That made Tori surprised. "JADE, THAT WOULD BE AMAZING!!!!! I CAN HAVE YOU WITH ME NON-STOP AND NO ONE WOULD COME AFTER YOU!!!!!" Tori exclaimed. The whole restaurant looks at them. "Sorry. Talking about future college. Carry on." Tori tells everyone and they resume their meals and conversation. "You would do that for me?" Tori asked the Goth. "Babe. I love you and I want us to be together no matter who we are." Jade tells her girl and Tori leans over and kisses her. "You are truly the best girlfriend ever, Jade West." Tori complimented. "Always will be for my Tori Vega." Jade said and they enjoy their lunch in peace.
