---Deathbringer's POV---

Deathbringer woke up. He was pretty sure he was in the healer's hut. He wandered for a moment when he noticed something. A daily recording. A daily recording of him. He flipped the pages until he landed on the recent one. He couldn't believe what he saw. It said that he had been out for a month! Not only that, it said he was still unconscious yesterday. He had to think this through. Not only Glory will think that he's dead, everyone will. He shook his head. He can't just burst out there, saying, "I'm alive! I'm alive!" Also, he had to think about Glory. What if she got so mad, sad, suspicious, and suprised that she had a heart attack?! I mean, that'll be not the bestest way to meet your... girlfriend?

No... wife? I mean, he is a father. Anyway, it's not the best way. First, he had to get out of here first. Like now. He opened the flap doors and slowly spread his wings. He winced at the scars but flapped his wings. With weak but clear wingbeats, he landed on a cave, far from the village. He stayed there, thinking.

---3 months later---

It was dark. He had finally decided. A way to meet Glory but not freak anyone out. Disguise. A perfect one. He quickly slipped pass the search team. The search team who searched for him. The search team that Glory sent out. Even after 3 months, he couldn't believe Glory hadn't given up. He flapped as fast as his wings could take him and landed on Jade mountain. He peeked into the cave entrace. Everyone was sleeping. He slipped into it and started to feel his way to the one cave he was here for. The Jade winglet cave. He stopped. He saw a candle light on, in the library. He peeked inside for a look. There was Turtle, happily reading a scroll. He sneaked up to Turtle.

When he was inches away, he grabbed Turtle's snout. Turtle made a muffling sound and started whacking his tail on Deathbringer's back talons. "Hey! Its okay! It's me! Deathbringer." He whispered. Turtle stopped and slowly turned his head around. Deathbringer took his front talons off of his mouth. Turtle looked at him, very confused at first, then suprised, then mad. "See, that's what I'm talking about." Deathbringer said to himself. "What is it?! Aren't you supposed to be dead or lost or something like 'wow, he disappeared...'" Turtle whispered. "Hmm... let me see... so you're saying I should be dead?" Deathbringer questioned Turtle.

Turtle slowly nodded. Deathbringer shook his head and pointed at his chest. "Could you make me into another dragon?" He asked. "Why?" "I thought about how to not suprise Glory and be next to her. And unfortunately the answer is that I need a disguise." Turtle blinked at him. "Why don't you just tell her?" "I think I just told you the answer..." "I personally think that she will be more stressed now than you telling her months ago." "I know... but... it's too late to turn back." "Yeah, I guess so." "Well, could you make me into another dragon or not?" "Oh. Sure." Turtle took out a necklace from his little pouch and placed it on the desk in front of him. "Wait... won't you loose your soul?"

"Excuse me? Are you asking that now?" Deathbringer lowered his head and didn't reply. "Necklace, I enchant you to change Deathbringer into totally another nightwing." Turtle put it over Deathbringer's neck. Deathbringer suddenly vanished from in front of him and was replaced by a totally different dragon. "How do you feel?" "Like me." "Nothing weird?" "No." "Good. Now I have to sleep." Turtle yawned as he dragged himself out. "Wait... don't tell anyone I was here!" "Yeah. I was thinking about that too." "Turtle?" "Hmm?" "Thanks." "Oh. No problem."
