Chapter 5: Secrets unraveling

Maxine POV:

I watched and see Jason started laughing at the muggers as the bullet holes in his body fade away. I watch as he grabs the muggers by the neck and start squeezing the life out of them. I went up to Jason and pulled him away from them. As I pulled him away his red eyes went back to normal and put on his glasses obscuring his face. Why does he always hide his eyes from his family, his friends, and me.

Jason POV:

"Why did you stop me" I asked Maxine. "You were going to kill them" she replied. As we walked away I was thinking to myself "Will she like me for who I am or not" "Will you go on a date with me" I asked her without thinking. She just stared at me weirdly. I accidentally said it out loud oh crap. "Sure" she said. "Wait what?!" I asked. "Does she like me" I asked myself.

3 hours later they arrived back at their school but Jason decided on taking her to Moon (a Japanese restaurant) and started the date that little did they know. May or may not be the last date they will ever have.

Jason POV: Moon, 5:00 pm

I sat next to Maxine while we were waiting for our meals. I grabbed her hand and she slapped it off. :(

We started talking about the shitty day we had when our food came by. I ordered japanese fried rice and Maxine got ramen noodles. When we got up and left Maxine tripped on nothing and landed at my arms. For some reason my hands were at her waist and her hands around my neck. I was going to kiss her but she pulled away. "I don't like you that way" she said. "Ok.." I said sadly. Then out of nowhere Lucifer appeared with 4 demon hunters and said "Lets go or we'll kill Maxine" he said. But then out of nowhere Jake, Jackson, and Mike appeared behind me "Why are you guys here" I asked. Then red wings appeared on their backs.
