MONDAY MORNING. It was a nice summer morning. Trees are  alive, sun's alive. Warm air, home-y aura, beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. I could sense people having picnic whereareas. Kids playing at the playground meeting new or old friends. I remembered when I was a kid. I used to play in our own playground.

I went for a walk around the neighborhood; trying to familiarize myself. Maybe trying to find a nice grocery store to buy food that I'm going to need. I needed to, I'm living on my own now. Very brilliant.

It's not that I'm married or anything... I'm a college student. Picked a nice university and hope for the best. I know it's not going to be easy, hell... highschool wasn't.

I was walking with my handy
bag, the one I always carry around with the same stuff I have inside. A nice book, wallet, some post-its for important purposes, sharpie, cellphone and maybe a bottle of water. I haven't gone far from my so called "home".

Suddenly, at the middle of my walk, there was this bench. This perfect bench right at a vacant curb. The sun was showing off its rays around the tree, shading the bench perfectly. The bench I was talking about isn't that new. It was old, you can tell by the wood attached to it and the metal connecting it. (which was rusty, by the way)

I sat at the bench and placed my bag beside me. I have this horrible habit that when I put down things, I pat it like it was living.

Crazy me

I took out my beloved book and placed my earphones obviously on my ears. There's so many trending songs nowadays, I don't why I'm still in love with Out Of My League. I even find myself humming it every now and then. Like I said, crazy.

At the chorus of the song, and at the middle of reading my book, my gut told me to look up.

no, gut. I am not  lookingg up

you're gunna regret not looking

shut up, guts don't talk

yes they do.

Crazy, right?

Out of curiosity, I looked up. I saw this beautiful girl. She looked a year older or not. She looked so simple, no trace of make up some how.

Is she walking towards me?

She tucked her unbraided hair behind her ear. The sun might have liked her. She's kind of having this sun spotlight you see in movies.

She's really walking towards me.

She sat beside me, not close though. There's this uncharted area between us. The sun really liked her. She faced the other way, she took out a book. The same book as I have.

I suddenly had an idea. Weird, but maybe it has it's good traits.

I took out a post-it from my handy bag and started scribbling words.

It's a nice book, I see you're starting it. :)

I sticked it near her, hoping she'd notice. I was just being friendly, right?

She glanced at it and she smiled. She poked my shoulder and looked at me and gave a warm smile with her nice thin lips. She's gorgeous.

She held out a sharpie and started scribbling out in the air.

GIVE HER POST-ITS, CHARMER.

I peeled half of my post-its and gave her the other half. She slightly nodded and closed her book. She started writing and slid it beside the note I placed beside her.
