Chapter one

It was warm. Well, almost too warm. The hot weather outside contrasted with the faint smell of peppermint on his body. You felt like it was the best day of your life.

You went to the theme park, watched some movies and even played arcade together. It was all lovely until the boy confessed something to you.

"Y/N-ah, I had so much fun with you." The boy said while holding your hand.

"Me too Jungkook..." You replied with a smile.

" But..." Jungkook said softly, afraid of hurting your feelings.

"But what?" You asked, concerned of his worried tone.

Jungkook let go of your hand. You showed a surprised expression.

Jungkook sighed and walk away from you slowly.

"Y/N-ah... I'm sorry" He said, leaving you behind.

"T-tell me why are you leaving me?" You said in tears.

The hot sunny day suddenly became cloudy. The wind started to blow stronger and droplets of rain started to fall down from the sky.

"I hate you Jungkook!..." You cried out your sorrow.

Jungkook pretended to not hear anything. He tried so hard not to cry. He runned as fast as he can to get away from you.

"Y/N-ah... This is for your good. Im sorry."

Jungkook took a last glance before he proceeded to run away.

You kept on crying and crying for the next few days until there was no tears left... and no love left for Jungkook.

It was warm and humid. The gentle breeze of spring blowed into your face.

"I really do need to work on my singing skills, huh?" You asked your best friend, Park Chae Young, who is as beautiful and as exquisite as a rose.

That's why people call her Rosè.

"Are you kidding me? Your voice is so good!" Rosè cheered you up.

As the president of the Music Club, Rosè is not only very talented in singing, but she also is very gifted in dancing. You and her have been best friend since you were in preschool.

"Thanks." You said, smiling at Rosè.

You both walked along the side of 한강 river (Hangang River) .

"The weather today is very beautiful." You said, trying to break the silence between you and Rosè.

"Mmn... It's very beautiful indeed." Rosè replied.

"What do you think if I become an idol?" You asked her.

"Pfft... What? Idol?!" Rosè chuckled.

You showed a sulky face.

"I'm just kidding~ Go for it! You're super pretty and you dance and sing really good. Of course you'll be a perfect idol!" Rosè booped your nose.

"하지마!( Stop it!) It makes my nose itchy!" You pushed Rosè away.

"Okay, okay... I'll stop." Rosè giggled.

"Promise me something." You asked Rosè.

"What?"

"Be an idol with me." You said while signaling her to do a pinky promise.

Rosè linked her finger with yours.

"Of course." Rosè smiled.
