Chapter 5

Optimus' POV:

I stared at Meadow who slowly stood up from the berth with the help of Ratchet while I just looked at her unable to form a word. After a few seconds I managed to get myself back together and decided to ask Meadow what happened and why she lost her voice box. "How did you lose your voice box" I asked Meadow who tried to speak but only made beeping noises. I frowned at Meadow unable to understand what she was trying to say "I've got an idea" Charlie said making me look down at her. Charlie told us her idea to which I agreed on then looked at Meadow "Meadow you need to take form of a vehicle can you do that" I asked her too which she nodded. Charlie left with Meadow to help her find a good vehicle mode for her so that she can use the radio of the vehicle to communicate.

A few hours later Meadow and Charlie returned to base while he all looked at them as Charlie got out of the new alt mode and Meadow transformed. I was now spending some time with Meadow before she had to leave with Charlie "Sweet Spark please be careful and if any decepticon attack you and you are outnumbered please let me know" I said to Meadow while she nodded. It was now time for Charlie and Meadow to leave back home too which I was sad but didn't show it and instead said goodbye to my sparkling. After she left I went to my berth room and sat on the berth wondering what the decepticons are planning since we haven't had any activity in recent days.

Meadow's POV:

It's been a month and still no signs of the decepticons which really worried my father a lot. I was now in the parking lot of Charlie's job waiting for her to get out so we can head to the base in Jasper, Nevada to see if there have been any detections of the decepticons. Once Charlie got in I got a distress signal from a nearby area. "What's wrong?" Charlie asked ::A distress signal:: I said through the radio as we backed out of the parking spot. I had decided to check the distress signal despite my fathers command not to check the area. Once I got there I told Charlie to go hide while I searched around for any signs of a Autobot ship. As I walked around a corner I was shot with some guns that have electrical things making me fall to the floor and black out.

I awoke to find two decepticons who I knew to well "Good your awake" Shatter said while Dropkick punched me in the stomach. I looked up at the decepticons while they looked at me "Where's Optimus Prime" Shatter said.  ::I don't know:: I lied to which Dropkick punched me again "I'll ask again where is Optimus Prime" Shatter said and this time I stayed quiet. Shatter chuckled darkly then looked at Dropkick who started punching me repeatedly. "The decepticons will be arriving soon" Shatter said as Dropkick cut the chains that was used to hold me up. Shatter then looked at me "Kill her" she said while Dropkick chuckled darkly then pointed his weapon at me and the last thing I remember was the noise of his weapon firing.

I opened my eyes to see I was somewhere else "Where am I" I said to which I immediately put my hand on my throat. "My voice" I said then heard someone call my name so I walked towards the source to see Alpha Trion there "Meadow your time will come but not now not today" Alpha Trion said as I looked at him "How do I get back" I asked "Your sparkling while brine you back to life" Alpha Trion said "M-My Sparkling!?" I said in confusion "The bond you share with Charlie is that of a carrier and sparkling" Alpha Trion said as my optics widened. "You will be a great carrier Meadow, and you have a soft spot for humans that is why Charlie and you are like carrier and sparkling you will sacrifice your life for her as a carrier would for her sparkling" Alpha Trion spoke.

I was about to say something when I felt a shock go through my frame "Your sparkling is trying to bring you back" Alpha Trion said. I felt another shock go through my frame while Alpha Trion began to fade "And Meadow please do listen to your sire" Alpha Trion said as another shock went through my frame and I nodded. I slowly rebooted my systems while I heard crying so I gently got up and looked at the source. I saw Charlie with the man name Memo who looked at me and his eyes grew wide making Charlie look back at me "Meadow" Charlie said happily while she climbed up my frame and gave me a hug. "Charlie" I said to which my optics widened "Your voice" Charlie said as I smiled 'Thank you Alpha Trion' I thought while I looked at Charlie and smiled.

I got up slowly and went to speak through the com link "Sire the decepticons are coming to Earth" I said through the com "What did I tell you about going to the signal Meadow" my sire said "I'm sorry but now is not the time-" I was cut off by the garage door exploding sending us all back. I looked up and towards Charlie as I scanned her and thank Primus she was ok then I scanned Memo and he was alright as well. I looked to my side to see some military people taking Charlie and Memo to which I got up and went after them. I was shot by some rope things to which I got knocked down and the cars that had the ropes started dragging me away. I looked at Charlie who was telling me to fight back then she hit the guy who then slammed her against some metal crates making me angry.

I slammed my servo on the ground breaking the ground below me as I slowly stood up. I looked at the man who had hurt Charlie with red optics showing him that I have had enough then threw him to some crates and grabbed the guy that was holding Memo and threw him to the side. I then took out my sword and cut the ropes that were holding me and began shooting the cars. "Meadow" Charlie yelled up at me making me look down at her too which I inched my face close to hers while changing me optic color back to its normal blue. I was now at the Marina and looked up to see Dropkick and Shatter up on the tower. After putting Charlie in a dumpster to keep her safe I ran to where I had a clear shoot of the tower and started shooting.

I began fighting Dropkick while Shatter stayed on the tower with the green liquid. I grabbed a chain that was on the floor and then ran for cover just as Dropkick started shooting then once we finished shooting I threw the chain up to which it got stuck all over him once he transformed "You think chains can stop me" Dropkick said too which I pulled the chains and he exploded. I looked up towards the tower seeing agent Fowler shooting at Shatter then I looked down to see Charlie about to jump onto the tower making my optics widen. Once Charlie jumped my spark stopped beating but luckily she was able to grab onto the tower making me sigh in relief. I was now fighting Shatter while Charlie was trying to shut off the machine and agent Fowler was calling my sire for backup.

I launched myself at Shatter and we both fell down the steep decline to the floor. I looked up towards Charlie to see the beam of light from the tower subside and I knew Charlie had disarmed the device. Shatter then started punching me repeatedly until I couldn't move then she took out her sword and aimed it at my spark "I'm gonna kill you then kill her" Shatter said angrily. I looked at Shatter angrily then looked at the wall behind her and shot it "You missed" she said "Did I really" I said making her raise an optic ridge in confusion. The wall began to fall and water started coming out from the crack while I quickly changed Shatter and I's position so that I was holding her down while water filled the ground. A boat then made its way towards us too which I let go of Shatter and dove underwater.

I saw Shatter explode and smiled while I sunk deeper underwater. I laid underwater for a while until Charlie appeared and we both went up to the surface. I helped Charlie out of the water then as I was about to get out of the water I felt two pairs of servos grab both of my servos and pull me up. I looked up to see my sire looking at me with a worried and angry expression "I'm sorry" I said too which his optics widened. "Your voice" my sire said while I smiled "You can thank Alpha Trion" I said as I stood up and looked him in the optics. Then out of no where he pulled me into a hug and we stayed like that for a few minutes then pulled away.

5 months later

Charlie got on and we both drove off to a secluded area so we can go to the Autobot base. Once at the base Charlie was with Miko, Raf, and Jack playing some game while I was standing in between my sire and Bumblebee while Ratchet talked about something that no one understood too which we all just ended up laughing afterwards while my sire looked at me with a smile.
