"Draco, wake up." Harry urged, shaking me awake. "What?" I questioned drowsily. "It's time to get ready, we need to Kings Cross station to catch the train to Hogwarts." Harry told. I shoot up in excitement then we quickly got ready. Today was the day I get to see the school my parents went to, get to meet the teachers that taught them, hopefully. I wonder if I'll be as great as they are? I hope I'll be as great as they are. Let's just hope that I'm not late to the train. "Breakfast!" Mrs. Potter called from the kitchen.

We went downstairs and went to he kitchen and sat at the lovely counter top they had. "Y/n, come and eat!" Mrs. Potter called. Y/n walked in and sat next to me. "Excited for school?" She asked as she served us two pancakes with juicy bacon. "Absolutely!" I beamed. "Wish I was going." Y/n sighed. "Me too." I said under my breath. "You'll go next year, sweetheart." Mrs. Potter assured. Mr. Potter walked in and sat with us as he started reading the Daily Prophet. One thing that I like about this house is what they call normal.

Like how Sirius walks into the kitchen in his dog form because he sometimes forgets to change back after he sleeps. And how it's natural to use that strange four wheeled car to go places. Also how some of their mail gets dropped off in a box by a man. "Come on, we're gonna be late!" Sirius bellowed from the living room. We all got up and went to the car, Mr. Potter and Sirius loaded our luggage onto the car. "Mom, can Crookshank come?" Y/n asked.

"Yes." Her mother agreed then the Persian kitten hopped in the seat and sat down. We all got in the car and went to the station, Crookshank walked on my lap and started rubbings head against my chest making a purring sound. "I think he's gonna miss you." Y/n smiled. "You know, most animals try to get attached to their owners love interest." Harry whispered. "That's how I know Psylocke will love Y/n." The heat rose to my face then I snapped towards Harry.

"Don't deny it, Draco, I saw the way you looked at her when you saw her the night you came to the house. Your secret is safe with me." Harry assured. I nodded the the kitten went back to Y/n and laid down between us. We arrived at the station then grabbed our luggage and put it on the trollies and rushed to the platform. I looked at the ticket and saw the platform number. "Platform nine and three quarters?" I questioned.

"It's right here." Sirius told pointing at the wall between platforms nine and ten. "All you have to do is walk straight at the barrier between platforms nine and ten. Don't stop and don't be scared you'll crash into it, that's very important. Best do it at a bit of a run if you're nervous." "I'll go first." Harry assured. He grabbed his trolley then started walking briskly toward the barrier, he was almost there — and then, quite suddenly, he wasn't anywhere. "Okay." I sighed then grabbed the handle of my trolley tightly.

I started to run to wards the barrier then closed my eyes tightly. I was going to smash right into that barrier and then I'd be in trouble — leaning forward on my cart, I wouldn't be able to stop — the cart was out of control — I closed his eyes ready for the crash — It didn't come... I kept on running... I opened my eyes. A scarlet steam engine was waiting next to a platform packed with people. A sign overhead said Hogwarts' Express, eleven o'clock. I looked behind me and saw a wrought-iron archway where the barrier had been, with the words Platform Nine and Three-Quarters on it.

I had done it. The Potters and Sirius walked through the entrance then we went to the train. "Got everything?" Mr. Potter asked and Harry and I nodded. He sighed then hugged Harry tightly with his mother. "Have fun at Hogwarts, Draco." He added. "Make sure you do your homework." Mrs. Potter ordered and Harry nodded. Y/n hugged Harry as I said goodbye to Sirius. "Make sure you don't cause too much trouble and if you do, make it worth it." He told. "Sirius." Mrs. Potter snapped lightly.

"I'm joking." He assured. Then something happened that's never happened to me before, Sirius leaned in and wrapped his arms around me in a nice warm and caring hug. I was stiff for a moment then slowly hugged back, this was nice — I've never been hugged like this before and before I knew it, it was over. "Have fun at Hogwarts." Sirius smiled. "See you soon, Draco." Y/n smiled then wrapped her arms around my neck hugging me. I smiled dreamily and wrapped my arms around her waist for a long moment.
