It's my first week of filming for my new show. I'm in my trailer awaiting until they need me on set. This has been so much fun shooting for. I been on other shows and movies but this has been different. I love to act and when your job doesn't feel like a job than you know that your doing something that your love to do. I shot 5 scenes so far and I have to shoot a few more today. I work Monday through Friday. An if we run behind they will make us work on Saturday. My mom has been so understanding an in my corner from day one. An that's part of the reason why I love her so very much. I do help her some mornings still when I don't have to be here to early. An sometimes we got some a little early an I go home and help her too. Over all this is one of the best things that ever happen to me behinds my kids and my wife of course
They call Me back on set 20 minutes ago and we're just going over the last scene of the day before we go home. Joey, your going to be operating on the patient while your operating. You Will also be teaching Katie character on how to do the operation in this Scene And than you ask Katie character if she wants to make the first cut. Than that's when you say Katie, are you sure dr. Montgomery. Than Joey, this is a teaching hospital and I feel like you learn better hands on. An after that you talk for a little bit about the operation and than the scene is over and I'll say cut. Than we can go home to our family's until next week. Does everyone knows what they are doing?? Yes we all yell back. Okay good, now places people.
As I was getting ready to go home Katie stop me. Hey Joey. Hey katie. Sorry to bother you. I know you wanna go home to your wife and kids. It's fine, what's up.... if you wanna go there's going to be a little get together at my house tomorrow for the cast and crew for all of our hard work. If you wanna go. You can bring your family with you. It will be a lot of fun if you decide to came. Um... Yea I can see if my wife and kids wants to go and if we aren't doing anything than we'll be there. Cool... um.. here's the address of my house. Thanks and have a great weekend. You too Joey.
As Katie started to walk away I got a call from my wife. Hey babe, I'm on my way home right now. What's up? Tomorrow I have to work. We are running a little behind and I didn't know if you have to work and if so than I have to call our babysitter. No.. I'm free tomorrow. I can watch the kids. I can take them to this party that my co-workers are throwing tomorrow. Katie just invited us. I was about to call you an see if you wanted to go. That nice of her to invite us to go. Will griff needs me for something. But we can talk more about this when you get home okay hun. Love you bye. I love you too babe. See you when I get home. Bye. Today was a long day but I still had a great day. I was happy that it was Friday and Now I just wanted to get home and see my kids and wife. Then go to sleep because I was really tried. Tomorrow was going to be a great day just me and my kids spending the whole day together like the good old days. That's one of the down sides of working all day. I can't be there for my kids all the time like I use to be. It's hard to adjust too but I'm managing it. I guess you can't have your cake and eat it too. Even through I am working all day all. I always make it home an hour or so before their bed time. So I can hear how their day went. But tomorrow is going to be a great day. I can feel it.
