Hi my name so Winter and today is my first day at limelight hospital as an in-patient and I'm scared I got diagnosed with Anorexia last year and it kept getting worse so now here I am with my suitcase and pillow making my way to my new bedroom.
On the way I seen two boys arguing with a younger boy he looked about my age but I couldn't get a good look at him. Me being the nosy person I am decided to eavesdrop since I don't know there names I gave them my own noodles is the curly headed boy in the doctor uniform, tall guy and rosy cheeks.
Noodles- Zach just listen to me and take the damn medicine
Zach so that's rosy cheeks name it's cute
Zach- What's the point it's not gonna make me healthy is it?
Tall boy- No but it will stop the pain a bit so it's not as hard to handle
Zach- I don't wanna take it, it makes me sleepy for a whole day Jo, I don't wanna miss a whole day that I'm alive incase I don't have many left
Tall boy- Zach I promise you you'll get better and we can do and go anywhere you want
Zach- Don't make promises you can't keep, Jack just give me the medicine
That was the last thing I heard before the nurse brought me to my room.
Daniel- Hi I'm Daniel I'm your nurse and will be for most of your stay unless one of my other patients get worse anyways this is your room.
It was white with a desk, bed, bedside table, wardrobe, bathroom and of course a cart filled with medications.
Winter- Thank you um I was wondering if any of your other patients have Anorexia?
Daniel- Um one his name is Zach maybe you should try to befriend him might help both of you to have a friend here
Winter- I think I seen him arguing with his doctor earlier
Daniel looked down obviously this isn't new
Daniel- Yeh he has kinda given up on any chance of getting a new heart
Winter- New heart? I thought he has Anorexia?
Daniel- He does but he was also born with a weak heart and the Anorexia only made it worse
Winter- Ok um what room is he in?
Daniel- Well right now it's time for your check up but you can meet him after
Winter- What kind of check up?
Daniel- Don't worry it's just measuring your height, weight, BMI, and you have to have a blood test now follow me
Winter- Ok
I followed him to a room with lots of medication and needles, this looks like torture but I am determined to get better so I'll do anything.
