life for me was not easy as a kid . I was born in Israel and I grew up with my mum . My father left us when I was only 6 years old and I had moved to America when I was only 9 . I decided to change my name to try and blend in with the new surroundings as you have probably guessed I changed it to gene Simmons . I remember the day I started high school my first and favoret subject was music . a couple of months after I graduated from high school my mum Baught me my first ever electic guitar it was a James tommie guitar it was black and shinny with a couple of Dents and scratches in it and it was missing the pickups . My mum knew it would mean the world to me and it did . I learnd to play It fairly quick and before long I was applying for collage to train to be a teacher . I remember standing out so much becaus of the way my hair was and the way I dressed . About this time the Beatles were the hottest band in the world . That had came from a small town called Liverpool in the United Kingdom . one night a group of my collage friends invited me to meat one of thyer friends . Stanley or as he later changed his name to Paul Stanley ( after Paul McCartney ) . When I met Paul that night I knew that we were destend to be in a band together . And so the madness began
