It happend all of a sudden . Nobody expected it . We came off tour and eric called me at 00:00 and told me that he was in hospital and that he had bean for a scan and that they Thaught it was cancer . He went for a couple more tests and sure enough it was cancer . He was told he had only one option open heart surgery . It was Riskey but he was strong we Thaught he would make it through us and his gf . eric went through with the surgery and was doing fine . He begd us to sneak food into him so we eventually gave up and brought him in a mc Donald's . He had to still stay in hospital to see if the cancer would come back . Unfortunately it did and he was told that he had 12 months to live . The last ever thing we did with him was te God gave rock and roll to you music video . he was In so much pain during it . It's heartbreaking to watch one of your band members die in frount of you . Eric wasent just a band member he was a brother to me and paul . He was part of our treo of double trouble . He was such a good friend he is up probley hanging with Jimmy Hendrix you never know . Rip Eric Carr
