Gaara x Reader: Chunin Exams

First Test

Ezume, Kazuto, and I arrive at the building to take the Chunin Exams. We're told that we have to go to room 301. We see a door labeled "301" and a huge crowd around the door. We go into the crowd to get to the door. There are two chunin by the door telling people that they can't go in. I looked up at the sign again to check if this was even the right room. It said "301". I looked at the sign a bit longer. It's a genjutsu!
I point at the sign and yell above everyone's chattering, "It's a genjutsu! The room we need to go to is another floor up!"
Once I yell that, the sign morphed into "201". Everyone apologizes to the two chunin.
We go up to the real room 301 and everyone in there looks extremely annoyed. I look around the room and my eyes land on Gaara. I manage to slip away from my group and go straight to him. He looks at me with confusion. I blush and try to hide it. I failed.
"What is it with you, y/n?" He asks coldly.
"I just wanted to be next to you. Do you want me to go away?" I ask.
"I don't care." He turns his head away from me a bit. Not out of annoyance, anger, or disgust. It was like he was trying to hide something. I didn't think about it too much. I figured this was normal for him. There was a bit of quiet chatter from some people to break the silence of the room.
Then Naruto yelled his signature catchphrase/intro whatever. "I'm Naruto Uzumaki (なると うずまき) and I'm gonna become Hokage (ほかげ)! だてばよ！ (Believe it!)"
I rolled my eyes in annoyance. Gaara has an annoyed look on face for only a moment, then goes back to the normal emotionless face.
My eyes dart around the room. There's so many people. I'm breathing the same air as a bunch of strangers. I am basically touching a bunch of strangers. I start panicking mentally. I start to hyperventilate. Gaara looks at me, extremely confused. I hyperventilate even more once I see that he's staring at me. I blush more out of embarrassment. The cat dude and the blonde girl look at me with a bit of concern and confusion.
"Sorry!" I say quickly in between a breath.
"Are you okay?" The cat guy asked.
"Anxiety attack."
"Why?" The blonde girl asks kindly.
"Too many- *hyperventilating* people." I reply.
"You gonna be alright, cutie?" The cat guy asked, making a desperate attempt to flirt.
I nodded my head quickly.
Cat guy smirks.
I glance up at Gaara. He's looking around the room, like he's trying to avoid something. He looks into my eyes. I start calming down from this. Each second he looks at me, the calmer I become and the more I start to blush. We stared into each other's eyes for about 5 seconds. I was blushing madly. The blonde girl puts a hand on my forehead and asks me, "Do you have a fever?"
"N-no." I stuttered.
"Well that's good."
After a few more minutes, a man walks in and tells us to sit down. We all sit down. I sit next to Gaara. I glance over at him, his eyes are focused on the man. I shift my attention over to the man. He tells us all the rules. I pay attention to every word. He then let us all start the test. The questions were very hard. I was stressing out over the test. I didn't want to fail my team. I thought they'd get mad at me. Tears start to form in my eyes.
"Don't cry! Don't cry! DONT CRY! DONT CRY IN FRONT OF EVERYONE, ESPECIALLY GAARA! HE'LL THINK IM WEAK!" I kept thinking to myself for fifteen minutes straight.
I luckily didn't cry. I managed to pull myself together and keep myself from freaking out too much. I looked around the room to see who had some answers. I saw a boy who looked like he knew every single answer. I used my red energy to get close enough to see him. I used my magnifying vision swap jutsu to see the answers through the red energy. I copied them all down very quickly. Then he flipped over the paper to answer the ninth question. I copied once more and set my pencil down on the table. I waited for the man to announce the tenth question.
"30 minutes until I give you the tenth question!" He soon announced.
"This tenth question is probably going to be tricky. I wonder if Ezume and Kazuto finished the test okay. Ezume probably did, but Kazuto I'm not too sure about." I thought to myself.
"15 minutes until I give you the tenth question!" The man announced again.
I look across the room to find Ezume. He's a few rows behind Hinata. The expression on his face tells me that he's relaxed and relived. It looks like he finished it. He has his hands on his knees and the pencil on the table which confirms my assumption.
I then look around the room for Kazuto. He's next to the guy I copied from. He looks nervous, but his pencil is on the table, which tells me that he's nervous about his answers, but the test is complete.
"5 minutes until the tenth question!"
I start fidgeting with my hands to keep myself from freaking out. My right eye starts twitching from the stress mixed with my anxiety. Gaara's right next to me, so I put my hand over my eye to cover it up before he could notice. I glance over at him. He has a sort of confused look on his face. My face heats up from my blushing. "Great! Now he's gonna think that I'm a creep because of my stupid eye twitching!" I yell in my head.
"If any of you want to leave, you may do so now by raising your hand. If you leave however, your whole squad has to leave, no exceptions."
A few people raised their hands and their squads left. Naruto raised his hand very slowly and then slammed it back down on the table. He gave another long speech and people decided to stay. Gaara and I both roll our eyes in annoyance.
The man waits for a few long seconds before he announces happily, "You all passed the first test!"
I then ask him, "How? You didn't even give us a tenth question!"
"The tenth question was whether you wanted to stay or not!" He laughs.
"That's it?! That's the dumbest test question ever!!" I yell.
He laughs even harder.
"Calm down. Don't make such a big deal out of it. It's over." Gaara whispers to me.
I blush and nod my head.
Then all of a sudden, a lady jumped through the window. I got extremely startled and let out a small shriek.
"Did I startle someone? I heard a shriek." The lady asks.
I try to hide my blush. I think it worked.
The lady introduces herself to us.
"I'm Anko, and I'm going to be your instructor for your second test!"
