It was the day Alexander Hamilton was supposed to die. He went at Dawn to the secluded area him and Burr were set to meet. This would be the duel to end his life. Eliza saw Hamilton leave the house that morning and not believing his story of a meeting followed him. Since it was so early she suspected to be home before the seven children woke up. She was like a ninja following Alexander all the way there. A large crowd engulfed Alexander as he went to his spot. Eliza very confused on what was happening ran through the crowd. Many figures she had met before were there. But she couldn't see what everyone was so excited for because of an extremely tall man in front of her. His afro puffed out so much that she couldn't see over him. She started trying to see around him but to no avail. She then tugged on his sleeve hoping he would either tell her what was happening or move for her. He turned around with a confused look upon his face and she asked if he could move a little his answer, no. Eliza now mad grabbed the tall man's cane and hit him with it making him move. This man was Thomas Jefferson the president. Madison ran to Jefferson's aid as Eliza looked over to see Hamilton and Burr in duel stances. She them heard them counting to ten as she looked over to Alexander and saw him pointing his gun towards the sky as Philip did. Eliza couldn't stand for this. She ran between the duel as they said ten and stood in front of Alexander. The bullet then passed through Eliza, becoming lodged into her spine. The doctor immediately rushed to her aid as Hamilton very confused looked around. He was confused on how he did not die. Then him and Burr realized Eliza had taken the bullet at the sametime. Burr and Hamilton dropped to the ground and started to cry. Eliza had been nothing but nice to Burr and now he would have an innocent person's blood on his hands forever. Hamilton however had just lost his wife. He had kids at home to feed and take care of made him more worried. Alexander stayed by Eliza's side the whole trip back across the Hudson. This all had felt like a nightmare that Alexander couldn't wake up from. How was he going to tell people about this? He stayed with Eliza until her death. He was unaware of what to do. He was already in debt, he had many kids at home, and Eliza was the only one that could make all of this work. He was devastated. Nothing could ever replace Eliza and now he had no idea where his life would go. Alexander took a look outside to realize that the children at home would most likely be awake at this time. He started to full on sprint towards his house. He couldn't tell the children about this, one of them was already mentally unstable. He didn't know what to do. He started thinking of excuses. Hopefully the children would fall for it, Alexander tried to calm down before opening the door. He wiped his face and took deep breaths. He opened the door to see absolute chaos
