I hate Monday's. It's basically the world telling you no more weekend, get back to reality couch potatoes.

In sharp contrast to Monday's, the weekends were awesome. You didn't have to get up out of bed until the want to pee overrides the want to stay in bed.

But life was life and I couldn't change that. I leaned upwards with my body telling me to lay back down, but I knew that I couldn't.

I looked at my old alarm and realized it was 8:10. The dang thing was supposed to go off an hour ago in time for middle school.

"Hey Del", yelled Ashton, "You up yet?"

"I've been up for an hour, buttbrain!" said Del.

"Did mom already leave for work?", I asked.

"Yup."

The mystery of sisters, something even the smartest of men wouldn't be able to figure out.

I got up and threw on some jeans, t-shirt, and socks and shoes. Then I went into the restroom.

I wondered where I got my crazy wavy hair. Maybe from my dad, but I barely even remembered what he looked like.

I was in between tall and medium, Hispanic, and had a small nose, small lips, and a build that wouldn't catch any girls eye .

I stuffed my 60 pounds of notebooks into my book bag. Then I went downstairs to heat up some cinnamon french toast sticks.

I ate and made sure I had everything.

"Come on Ashton, my clothes are going out of style", complained Del.

Let's freeze right here. You're probably wondering why I'm going to school with her. The truth is she's my relative. Ill do you one better she's my sister, just kidding, she's my twin. We are just so different it's hard to believe that we are twins.

I got my skateboard and saw that a new villain had shone up on Tv.

Apparently, the Life Thief had made another appearance and had tried to harass a woman.

"Let's go already Ashton", said Del.

As we were skateboarding down the road we saw the fight or at least what was left of it.

Omega Lightning was the most popular male superhero. He was standing, with one foot over, let me see in my villain notebook.
It was 'Life Thief'. He could steal peoples powers, suck life out of people and even use them as host bodies if he confined them in his green glob of a body.

If you didn't get out he would suck the life out of you, then you'd lose your power and die.

"Ashton stop nerding out", said Del, "Lets go to school."

School a pretty normal day until last class when Mr. Libman asked is about Academy Hero.

He read the list of applicants to get in the entrance exam.

"These are the applicants to get into the hero course for this class. Reed, Power: Hotflame,"- (Reed was my best friend, we had been since 5th grade)-,"Tara, Power: Earth manipulation, Simon, Power: Whiplash"-

"Hunter, power: Explosion, Ashton, Power: none.

You may be wondering, 'What you have no powers Ashton?' It's true I've always wanted to be a hero but I never had powers.

Neither does my sister Del/Delilah. Though my little sister Sapphire is too young to tell if she has powers.

My whole life I've been mocked for wanting to be a hero, but by now im pretty used to it
