Chapter 1

We met like most celebrities meet their fans: at a concert. I had snuck backstage, jacking a press pass and a camera. The boys were backstage, chilling on a couch just talking to each other. I held back screams of joy. It took everything I had not to fangirl.

“Hey,” I said ditching the camera. The boys turned five pairs of eyes at me, and then five gorgeous smiles broke across their beautiful faces.

“Hello love,” said Harry his dimples making me melt slightly. His green eyes sparkled like emeralds. I walked up to them and began to introduce myself.

“Hello, my name’s Payton,” I said taking Liam’s hand and shaking it. Niall’s crooked smile widened, making me melt even more.

“Can I call you Pay Day?” asked Louis his serious face trying to contain a smile. I nodded and grinned like an idiot. Liam elbowed him in the side, glaring at him.

“So what are you doing here, love?” asked Zayn his brown eyes winking at me. Causing me to inwardly scream, and outwardly giggle.

“I’m here to-” I begin to say only to be interrupted by male voices saying, “Paul why don’t you go check on the boys.”

My eyes got huge. “Um, I’ve got to go,” I said grabbing Harry’s arm and the Sharpie in my hair. “Here’s my number,” I said scribbling it on to his arm. I begin to walk away when I remember, “Oh, and my Twitter,” I said scribbling it onto Niall’s arm. All the while he grinned at me like an adorable idiot. I began to walk away again when I remembered, “Ah, and my Tumblr,” I begin to write it on Liam’s arm, only to think about it and scribble it out. They really didn’t need to read what was on there.  “Yeah, I’m gonna go,” I said walking backwards toward the exit. “Call me, text me, tweet me, or ignore the permanent ink I just covered your arms in, all fine by me.”

“Hey, Paul,” said Liam and I turned tail and ran.

O.o T.T T^T XD X3 ;3

Later in the elevator of my hotel I was banging my head against a wall. Idiot, idiot, idiot, I thought. You acted like an idiot. I leaned against the metal walls and waited for my floor, my iphone buzzed in my pocket and I took it out. I had a text message from an unknown number; I open it and my eyes about bugged out of my head.

It read: Hey, this is Niall, wondered what you were up to? I scream like a little girl, added him to my contacts, and hurriedly text back.

“Nothing much, just heading back to my room.” I absolutely loved the fact that he had no idea I was fangirling like no other right now. The elevator doors swooshed open with a high pitched ding, and I ran down the hall like a maniac to my door marked 334.

I was staying in London for a couple weeks, as an 18th birthday present from my grandmother. It helped I had been accepted to Oxford University and was moving here anyway. The little cottage I would be living in was being refurbished, another gift from grandma, thus the reason for the hotel room.

I checked my coat pocket for my key card, but it was not there. So I checked my wallet, not there either. It wasn’t in my jeans pockets either; I leaned against the door and slid to the floor my high officially over.

My phone buzzed again. “Cool, wht hotel r u staying in?” he asked.

Thirty Pines,” I replied. “But I lost my room key and I’m locked out and there’s nobody at the front desk. :(
