Amanda's POV
"You know what, alesha? I always somehow believed that it would be me and Simon. Ending up together, you know." I say.

"I never told you, because I obviously didn't want to offend you, but I always thought you two would be perfect for each other." She answers, and I chuckle lightly.

"Oh you should've been here at the start. The first few years. They were amazing." I reminisce.

"You did sleep together, didn't you?" Alesha asks.

"We've talked about this alesha. We didn't sleep together. He wanted to but I said no. I regret that every single day." I answer.

"It's never too late to tell him how you feel? You know that right? He would jump ship in a heartbeat for you." Alesha says.

"That's wishful thinking, Alesha. I really don't think he likes me anymore. He just seems annoyed with me. He says he has control over the show, but I'm sure that if he did he would switch our places or fire me completely." I answer and look down.

"Are you serious?! You've sat in that chair next to him since the show started! He change you out for like one day and replaced you with Kelly, and let me remind you, how did that end?" She assures me.
"Simon wouldn't even acknowledge her time on the show last night!"

"Schhh!!! You're yelling. I don't want to talk about it anymore. I doesn't matter anyway. You should be getting dressed, so get out of here and I'll see you in an hour." I say and stand up to help Alesha.

"I'm not that pregnant, I can get up on my own thank you very much!" She laughs and I laugh along with her.
"Don't think about it. Just do what you always do. Hold his hand and don't trip on the dress." She continues and points at the long black and white dress hanging in the corner of my dressing room.

"I won't make any promises." I laugh and she turns around and exits the room. I follow after her and walk out into the hallway when I bump into a familiar person.
"I'm so, so sorry, Simon!" I say and help him up from the floor where he landed.

"Watch where you're going next time, maybe?" He chuckles.

"I'm really sorry." I say.

"It's okay, I was just about to get changed anyways." He answers and I let out a sigh of relief. We lock eyes for a second, but it feels like forever. All I want to do is just tell him everything. Tell him about Chris, tell him how I liked him.
"Why are you staring at me?" He asks. Maybe it was more than just a second...

"I'm sorry." I answer.
"I should get going, okay bye." I hustle back into my dressing room. I shut the door behind my and rest my back against it before I slowly move over to my dress in the corner.
"Why can't it just be like before? Why can't it just be me, Simon and Piers? No David. No Alesha. No Lauren. Nothing extravagant. Going to work in jeans and a blouse. Sitting closer to Simon than piers so I can rest my head in his shoulder. Why can't it still be like that? Piers teasing us, whispering with Simon and then having Stephen question us about it. I literally had the perfect chance to date the most perfect man there is, and I didn't take it. You're a fucking idiot, Amanda.

"Amanda, darling? Let's get you dressed!" Someone knocks on my door. It's Mikey. I invite him in and he helps me change into my extravagant dress.

"You look brilliant, Mandy!" He exclaims as he takes my photos against my personal wall. I smile and look away and try some different poses, just so that I have a few options.
