He led a pretty peaceful life between studies and games. He didn't have any friends and didn't need them, at least from his point of view.
"Humans are such a pain"
He would always give the same answer when asked why he doesn't interact with his classmates. Someone someday told him
"You're a human yourself, Liam".
He shut him up with a natural answer.
"I am such a pain myself"
Ever since that day, nobody tried to talk to him. He enjoyed his life of freedom for quite some time. But happy days are not eternal. Eventually, the day that would change his life forever came.

I returned home after a long day of exams and was excited to play the new game I bought. But I would never have the chance to try it out. When I opened the door a bright light shined on me blinding me for a moment. I fell down and felt that something was not right about the floor. Then I heard a voice complaining.
" Is that all!? just one guy? This year is cursed!"
When I opened my eyes I saw some strange guy with black wings and two horns sitting on "royal chair". He had a beautiful blue short hair. His eyes were of a pure blue that exceeds the purity of the sapphire. To be honest, he was the kind of spoilt brat, and the handsome type as well. In front of him several men wearing hoods were fixing me with disappointed eyes. Some of them had black wings and others didn't. What the heck is all this. Where am I? In a horror movie? Behind me there was a rocky door. I stood up and shook my clothes. The one sitting scolded me. "Why did you come alone?"
What is it with this monster? Is he insane?
"I didn't even choose to come here. Where is this place ayways and how did I get here. And who are you people?
He looked pissed off and ignored my questions.
"Throw him in the jail! I will look into his case another day"
In the jail, I started to realize my situation. I was leading the peaceful life I always dreamt of, returning home after the exams, and then Piaf! Everything disappeared and here I am imprisoned in an unknown country of monsters, if not even, another world. I had all the time to verify that this is not a bad dream, and that this is the sad reality. I spent about a week in my dark cell. For the first days, I found my Smartphone in my pocket. The monsters didn't search me so I had all my belongings on me. I used the phone to chase the boredom, but unfortunately the battery ran out of energy soon enough. Well, the time I spent there wasn't that bad. I ate well. I actually ate too well, better than in my former life.
In the end of the week, some guards with horns came and let me out of my cell. They allowed me to take a bath then they gave luxurious clothes to change probably because they are going to present me to their king. It was like "You filthy commoner, don't you dare meet our king in that outfit!" How did I know that he was a king? His "royal chair", His arrogant orders, it all points that he is someone with power. The rest is just my guessing. What a pain! I always said that humans are such a pain but it appears that monsters are such a pain too.
After I finished dressing, the guards led me to room that seemed like a "living-room". But it was creepy with scary trophies on the walls and a disgusting decoration of the room. I tried to find a peaceful view but I couldn't. So I focused on my clothing and that is when I heard a young voice say.
"I bet you are thinking that this place is disgusting, right?"
I was surprised and I turned to him.
"I should've expected it! You have wings and horns; it is not strange that you possess some abilities too like mind reading."
The king laughed.
"Reading minds? You are overestimating us. It is just that I find it disgusting too. I hate this room you know?"
"So? What are you planning to do with me?"
The king smiled.
"Good question. What should I do with you? What do you think?"
I answered carefully.
"Something like sending me back home maybe."
The king exploded in laughter for some time.
"You are really funny! By the way, what is your name?"
"Liam"
"Hmm... that is a strange name."
I looked at him seriously.
"You are evading my question"
He answered ironically.
"Am I? You want know really? I will tell you then what demons do with useless humans like you! They eat them!"
I showed him my poker face and said coldly even though I was cowering in fear inside.
"Ah, I see."
He looked frustrated.
"Aren't you scared?"
"I expected something like that."
The demon King seemed in shock.
"You expected it? And you are not that scared? Don't you have dreams or someone you want to see? You are really empty!"
When he talked about someone I want to see, strangely a little girl's face appeared in my mind. It wasn't clear enough. Who is she? I tried to remember something about her but strangely, my mind was fuzzy and my head hurt me so gave it up. It seemed as though I was in a daze. When I opened my eyes I saw the demon king's worried face. I smiled and said.
"So, the demon king is worried sick about his dinner."
The demon king seemed surprised. Then he laughed sincerely.
"You got me. Demons never eat humans because in this world there isn't a single human."
