Freedom

                Freedom.

 Every man wants it. To run wild between the trees, to fly among the bees; to do the things you please, when you can finally be at ease. You can go wherever you want, no boundaries. You can do what you want, no limits. But, as every man knows, “freedom isn’t free.” Freedom has a price. And it is no small price; indeed; you must give up what seems like everything you ever had. Almost.

 Most Americans think of the thousands of people who fought in wars and died for their country when they think of “freedom.” But it’s more than just that. They did not set you free. Did they help? Yes. Most certainly, they have helped millions of people be set free. But they are not the ones who can free you. It’s up to you to break your chains, or live imprisoned forever.

 It doesn’t matter what kind of prison you live in. For some, it’s school. For others, it’s confusion. Everyone’s prison is slightly different; everyone’s shackles holding them back a different style. But in the end, it’s all the same. Every man must free himself, for he is the only one who knows his shackles. Each man holds the key in his heart.

                Ultimately, the only one who can free you...
