ウルトラ勇気 Ultra yuuki : Chapter 1

“ Yuuki, you’re a big girl now. That school uniform really brings back memories of your mother”

“maaa~ ojiichan(grandpa)~ “ she pouted. It’s not like she hated it when her grandfather trying to bring up oldstuffs from the past. She fixes her first year ribbon. She looked at her own reflections in the mirror. She wondered if she looks laughable enough this year. Not to mention this will be the first time for her to enroll into a city school.

The environment must be really different

 And so she thought without knowing that things are going to change. A beautiful flower is about to bloom soon.A butterfly will spread her wings for the first time. No, in her case a kitten is going to turn into a wise cat.

“ Please remember to remember what I have taught you. Patience is a must in whatever situation. Anger will only bring nothing but disaster” his hands were on her shoulder as if he was passing a great responsibility to her. His eyes were shiny. He was actually trying not to shed a tear in front of her wonderful granddaughter.especially  on a great day like this.

“en!” she nodded. But deep inside her, there’s a wound refusing to heal. She fought with it for years but its like a curse that will never leave. It was engraved deep inside her heart waiting to bleed again.

“ ittekimasu” (I’ll go now)

“itterashai”( come home safely)

They exchanged greetings.

She’s taking her first step into a world that was unknown to her, she’s going to begin a journey. A journey to her own future.

She looked up to the blue sea above her.

“my name is Ootora Yuuki, yoroshiku onegaishimasu(please be nice with me)”

She murmured to herself putting a big hope in making new friendships.

The school bell rings. She made her way to the noticeboard. Many students were flocking there making it hard for her to find her name. She stretched herself. Then she felt something hit her. She couldn’t control herself and fell onto the ground.

“Gomen, Gomen(sorry sorry)” she heard a boy’s voice. She felt something on her chest. She opened her eyes and she could see his hands. It was exactly on her chest

“IYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA”

“AH!” The boy quickly get himself up.

“ I didn’t mean it! Seriously!” His face turned really red. Everyone was already laughing and whispering.

Yuuki face was really red too. Her mind turned blank. She didn’t know what to do. She quickly grabs her bag and run into the school building. She hides herself behind a wall. She cupped her own face timidly.

This is so embarrassing! Not on my first day….

Everyone will be talking about it

I already made a bad impression

And that guy, does he really didn’t do it on purpose

Or this city is full of hentai(perverts)?!!

Either way its just so embarrassing to think about.

“anoo…” a girl approaches Yuuki.She was looking at her shoes. Yuuki quickly checks on her attire. She really think it was the proper uniform.

“yes?”

“it’s the shoes, you should change and put it at the rack over there” The girl prevented herself from laughing

Ah! Not again! This is so embarrassing!

“Sumimasen, I’ll go there immediately”

Yuuki bowed a few times to her. She bowed back

“ let me accompany you… I never seen you before.. are you a new girl in this town?..cause If you were here before I would have known you. I know everyone in this city” Her hair was long and brownish. It’s like she just came out from a salon or something. Her hair do was really perfect. While Yuuki’s hair was black and plain. She never really cared about her hair. Her hair is always tied into a ponytail. She adjusts her glasses.

“Em, yes. This is the first time I’ve been here..” Somehow she felt a bit shy. Compared to her, she’s nothing but the girl with the eyeglass. She’s so pretty and friendly too.

“ Well then do you know which class you’re going to?” She asked with a little squeak in her voice.

“ I don’t know..I didn’t get to see it because of this guy who…who..”

“just tell me your name ,if you’re in my class I would know” she interrupted her without even wanting to hear what Yuuki wanted to say. She was excited to have a new girl as her classmates. She knew almost everyone from Middle High school. A new girl from outside Ikebukuro would be nice to add to her acquaintance list.

“Oo..to..”

“ come on don’t be shy!” she jumps on Yuuki’s back. Yuuki can hear her giggle.

“come on come on tell me”

“im Ootora yuuki !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

Everyone in the hallway glances at her. She didn’t mean to say it out loud. The girl squealed too much. She was also haunted by her nightmare. People laughing at her name.

“ Oo as in big or large , Tora as in tiger.. Yuuki as in Courage? “

She can hear people talking behind her back. She felt like running away. However, the question from that pretty girl puzzled her. She didn’t laugh. Not even a grin.

“En! How do you know?”

“ wild guess….i have a sixth sense” She smiled.

“really?” yuuki replied with full of amazement

“You really believed that?! No way! I read them at the noticeboard of course! that’s a really nice name. My name is Togawa Reina. From now on just call me Reina!” Reina wrapped her arms around Yuuki.

“ The class is about to start. We’ll continue your tour during break time!”

She pulled Yuuki’s hands and started running. Yuuki was shocked at the same time but she felt this wonderful feeling.

For the first time in her life, someone was not laughing at her name besides her grandfather and the Ootora’s family household.

Reina. En! 

She smiled to herself.
