Man Up

Nicky's P.O.V

It's been a week since I left Abbi at the train station but I really wanted to ask her to come over, I had to man up. I walked over to my phone and looked for Abbi's number to call her, after a few seconds she picked up "hi Nicky what's up" " hi Abbi I was kinda.. Um.. Calling.. To uhhh" come on Nicky you can do this I thought to myself "Nicky are you alright?" Abbi questioned at that I began to get really nervous I thought I'd never manage to get the words out but I took a deep breath and spoke "yeah, I was wondering if you wanted to come over for a little bit today since it's a Saturday and all" I felt so much better after finely getting that out, it would be good to see her again "yeah sure, sounds good, it's 1 o'clock just now so il be over in half an hour if that's okay?" She replied, I grew the biggest smile ever "yeah great, see you soon" I said before hanging up. I did a little happy dance then went to get dressed.

Abbi's P.O.V

I finished putting on the last of my make-up and headed down stairs and out the door to catch the bus. After a 10 minute ride on the bus I reached Nicky's house and walked up to the door, all of a sudden I felt nervous like I didn't want to ring the door bell I was kinda... Scared. I eventually took a deep breath and rang the door bell which was quickly answered by no other than Nicky "HOUSE KEEPING" I shouted in fits of laughter as well as Nicky. We both went upstairs to Nicky's room which was kinda nice and clean not what I expected from a boy "so what do you want to do" he asked, I sat back and looked around his room before spotting his Xbox and FIFA, I smirked and he saw and laughed "okay" he said giggling, I lay back on his bed waiting for him to start up the game, I just thought about the past when I was his fan and not his best friend it's really weird but I wouldn't change it for the world. After what seemed like forever Nicky finally set up FIFA and we went straight to playing. "Awww Nicky!" I screamed as he bet me for the 3rd time out of 5 games "haha look who's the best now, it was beginners luck the first time we played" he giggled, I just laughed "I don't want to play this anymore" I said lying back on the bed, he nodded and turned the Xbox off before coming and sitting beside me on the bed.

Nicky's P.O.V

We just sat on the bed talking for ages, it was great catching up with her again after not taking for a week because of how busy we both were "so what you got planned gig wise mr famous boy" she giggled in all honestly I had nothing planned at all, I was gonna use this time off to spend time with Abbi and my family "no gigs just quality time with you and the fam, what about yourself" I asked smiling "just the same really" she smiled back, we both blushed "sounds good" I giggled. We talked some more about random things and cracked a few jokes here and there but we eventually ran out of things to talk about so I got my phone out my pocket and started to scroll down my twitter feed before feeling the impact of a pillow hitting me right in the face, I turned around to look at her cheeky little face "oh it's on" I laughed jumping up on the bed with a pillow and we both started having a huge pillow fight "Nicky look!" She yelled while pointing out the window and of course I fell for it and looked, she smacked me right across the face and I fell to the ground and pretended to be hurt and as planned Abbi kneeled down beside me to see if I was okay and at that I rugby tackled her onto her back with me on top. We both burst out laughing she looked so cute all giggly and happy which made me stop laughing and stare deeply into her eyes and shortly after so did she. I began to scan from her lips to her eyes and back again and I felt myself leaning in closer and closer and before I knew it I was inches away from her, I had to man up this is my opportunity and I really have to take it.

Abbi's P.O.V

We were just inches away from each other our noses were just about touching and at that Nicky's lips crashed onto mine, his lips were so soft so I smiled into the kiss and so did he it was amazing my stomach felt like millions of butterfly's were at war and I felt the fireworks, I wonder if he feels it too?, the kiss felt like it was going on forever but I wasn't complaining Nicky was an amazing kisser. After what seemed like forever we pulled away for a breath "wow" I smiled breathing heavily "Abbi.. I.i.. I'm sorry I don't know what I was thinking I..." I cut him off by pressing my lips onto his again to show him that I didn't mind I felt him smile again into the kiss, we pulled away with our foreheads together "that was amazing" I blushed and so did he "you're not to bad yourself" he giggled and intertwined our fingers which I found adorable "I better get going" I said smiling at his cute little face "okay, it was amazing having you over" he said kissing my forehead, we said our goodbyes and I headed to the bus stop, all I could think about was that kiss.
