Archeage is trademark to Trion Worlds, inc. I do not claim to own Archeage. This is merely a way for me to express my creativity through a story based on a game that I DO NOT OWN.
Revenge. A deep stinging. An insuppressable urge. terrible longing. A need that eats away at your soul, bit by bit until it is accomplished. A fire in one's very being that surges up every moment you can't attain it.
That fire was inside me. It was flaring up, a terrible burning feeling that drove me forward. It comsumed my thoughts and actions. I wanted it.
Everyone wants revenge. Haranians want it on the Nuians and vice versa. All from an idiotic rivalrythat has gone on for far too long. Hatred for the opposite continent runs in everyone's blood, racks their bones, shook them. All stemming from nearly-forgotten wars after the exile of Auroria.
The days when a terrible magic was upon our—both races'—home continent. The diety Kyrios destroyed the land, but a goddess opened up a portal that allowed everyone to escape the corrupted country. From then on, things were terrible. There was building, destruction, rebuilding, civil war, rebuilding, war with Nuians.
But revenge was different for me. I was drenched with the pure, overwhelming desire to set fire to Nuian. They had killed my parents, burned my village, slaughtered the children. The amount of complete dishonor to do such things is unspeakable.
I wanted revenge. I wanted to avenge Haranya, and my home.
