"Finally, we reached. Let me find a parking slot", said Sanskar driving his car out of the crowd and into the parking area of one of the finest hotels in Chennai.

"I am so excited to see him from so near. I am going to shout my heart out that he would be forced to turn back and look at me", smiled Swara imagining the moment which she is going to experience in the next few minutes.

Both of them came out of the car and joined the crowd in front of the entrance waiting for the cricketers who would come that way to board the bus which is waiting for them. The whole place was filled with commotion, out of which Swara could hear a melodious voice of a little girl who was giggling, her eyes traveled in that direction and she was startled to find the girl walking in the midst of the road not paying any heed to the vehicles passing by. At the same moment, a truck was coming that way in such a speed and looking at the driver, it seems that he was not able to control it probably because of brake failure.

Swara hurried towards the girl and at the nick of the time, she pulled the girl towards her and turned back while the truck went past them giving little scratch on Swara's elbow. In the next moment, Swara was found to be pulled by Sanskar to a safe place as she was so immersed in the girl's safety, that she didn't observe a car coming that way.

"Are you mad? What is the need of putting your life into danger?", scolded  Sanskar and Swara could sense the fear of losing her in his voice.

Just then, a lady came running towards them with tears in her eyes and the girl happily called out "Mumma". Swara handed over the child to her mother after a good scolding for being so careless.

As they left, Swara looked at Sanskar's angry face, "If anything would have happened to that little girl?"

"What if anything would have happened to you? You didn't even think for once how will I live without you?", Sanskar choked and tears started forming in his eyes for which Swara immediately hugged him.

"Sanskar, I am fine. Kids are the future generations of our country. How can we let something happen to them?", said Swara?

He silently broke the hug and took her towards the car. Taking out the first aid kit, he attended to her wounds.

"I am not telling you not to help. I just want you to be careful", he said putting the final bandage.

Swara cutely nodded in yes and thanked God for giving such a caring husband to her.

"You brought me all the way from Hyderabad to Chennai to see your Mahi, but now it seems they have left.", said Sanskar walking towards the security to find out. After a minute or so he returned back.

"The cricketers were hurried into the bus because of this disturbance keeping in mind their safety. Bad luck", sighed Sanskar.

"It's okay, if not today, we can see him tomorrow...but once life is lost, we can't get it back right?", Swara smiled.

"So, that means we are staying here for one more day", he sighed already missing his home.

Happily, Swara pulled him with her making plans on how to spend the entire day.

A/N: the character names have been taken from the serial Swaragini and out of my love for Dhoni, the former Indian cricket team captain, I had used his name too.
