Chapter-6

JAKE'S POV

After our talk and me giving her magic, we turned to see everyone staring at us.

"What happened?"

"Why are you two talking in a corner? Do you like each other?" Mira said while shaking her eyebrows.

I was slightly blushing and turned to see Nene. But she had no expression on her face.

"I was just taking magic from him." She said bluntly and went outside.

Does she really not feel anything towards me? The first time I met her, I started to like her. I thought of asking her out if after the battle. But now that I know she doesn't like me, I think I should keep trying till she starts to like me.

NENE'S POV

I don't have time for showing feelings to others. Even if I have feelings for him, I can't express it as my goal is to defeat Acnologia.

I went outside for a walk. As I passed by the lake, I saw Master Mavis. I went towards her.

"We could finally talk now." She said.

"Master, I have learned the spells that could defeat Acnologia."

"Well done. You are the final hope that I have to."

"Thank you, Master."

"It would be bad if someone notices us. Go back to the guild."

"Alright."

Then I went back to the guild.

"Where did you go?" Ultear asked me.

"Just for a walk."

"It's already so late, let's go to Fairy Hills."

"Okay. I'm also feeling sleeping.

(At Fairy Hills .......)

ULTEAR'S POV

Alright now everyone is asleep. It's nearly midnight now. They must be waiting for me.

I head towards Magnolia forest. As I pass near the trees in the interior region, I see two 2 people standing under a tree.

"You're finally here, Ultear." It was Meredy.

She ran to me, and hugged me. She started to cry.

"Don't cry. Now that I am back, I won't leave you again."

"Where have you been all this time, Ultear? And what was with the letter about leaving us?" Jellal questioned me.

I can't tell them about Nene. She trusted me that I won't tell her secrets to others.

So I told them everything that happened except about Nene.

"So you were the old lady that gave us the letter? " Meredy asked.

I nodded.

"Who is that mage that helped you?" Jellal asked.

"I don't know but I am following that person. After I find out about him/her , I will come back."

"Alright Ultear. Take care." Jellal said.

After that, I took the crystal ball that they bought for me and I left that place.

I was happy that I could meet them again. I miss them so much.

Tomorrow, me and Nene will go to meet her aunt. I want to know about Nene's past.
