Chapter 5

Pikachu and the gang ran through the valleys of the unknown forest as fast as they could, knowing that the group of Greninjas are well on their tail in pursuit. But luck seems to be running out for the gang with the mouse detective. The rogue Greninjas seem to be gaining on them every single second and two of them used Ice Beam and made an enclosure around them, trapping them in it.

They smirked at Pikachu and the gang, they were concerned and definitely did not want to know what was next. The Greninjas advanced towards them, slowly cracking their knuckles, deciding what they were going to do with the group. This was where Pikachu's smarts played a big role, in a matter of seconds he had a plan. The plan was to pick on the weakest one, that being Psyduck. He smacked Psyduck's face, so hard that its headache increased drastically, resulting in a blast, larger than they had ever seen. The ground started shaking, it was an earthquake but with a magnitude no one had ever experienced.

The Greninjas were thrown several feet away and gained severe injuries due to the quake which was followed by a tree branch that fell onto them. Ivysaur had successfully protected himself and his pal, Pikachu, using his Vine Whip that were curled in a shape that created a protective barrier around them. Little did they know that the blast had woken up massive beings which resided in the gigantic valleys of the forest. Actually, scratch that. The blast had woken up massive beings which MADE UP the gigantic valleys of the forest.

The forest, or shall I call it – gigantic Torterras were disturbed from their slumber which usually meant bad things. Pikachu, who wasn't just smart but also kind, apologized which resulted in the Torterras to smile back and return to their sleep. Pikachu wiped out a bead of sweat making its way down from his forehead, as they quickly decided to get out of there, but Ivysaur wouldn't budge.

The massive psychic blast had shifted the genes of Ivysaur. It had shielded itself after it being hit by a fragment of the psychic energy. Ivysaur slowly glowed blue in color and started to grow larger and larger, the bulb at its back opened, revealing a large poisonous reddish plant, actually a Rafflesia Arnoldii, the largest plant in the world. Its plant and body did not seem to stop growing, it grew and grew and soon it had outgrown any Venusaur that ever existed. It exceeded the average size of a Venusaur. It was indeed, evolving into an enormous Venusaur.

Its powers too, were going off scale. Psyduck used its Psychic powers to make a shield around them and started to balance Venusaur's powers. Soon enough, Pokemon we knew as the friendly Ivysaur, was now a huge Venusaur, who returned to its original happy go lucky self.

"I did it! I finally evolved into a Venusaur. But why am I bigger than other Venusaurs? I mean, its not I don't like being bigger, but I should be the regular size."

Then for the first time ever after their meeting, Psyduck finally spoke. "There is a greater reason you have evolved. Be patient and you shall find out."

Venusaur agreed to the statement, it started admiring himself while Pikachu and Psyduck snickered. They decide to have a break before heading on. But just before Venusaur went to rest, he saw a purple flame dash through the sky, to the location where Pikachu had figured Ash would be.

He quickly gets up and grabs the other two and makes a dash for it. But suddenly, he realises that his feet are no longer on the ground. Due to the large flowers and leaves on his back, he becomes just like a Tropius. He understands that he's flying. Remembering that this is no time to celebrate and to be dilly dallying, he flies at a much faster pace and almost catches up to the purple flame like substance. He knew from day one, that the Mewtwo in front of them was evil.

Due to his special wings, he couldn't be heard. Unless a certain someone made a sound. Pikachu and Psyduck were shocked for a moment and both screamed. Venusaur covered their mouths with a vine whip but it was too late. Mewtwo turned around shocked and dashed off at an even more great speed, accelerating every second.
