Chapter 3- Tent telepathy

Sitting there with a poster from a living cartoon held in your hands had your mind racing. After all, this was the ex mystery twins Mabel and Dipper on this poster. What would happen from now on? With them dressed as lil Gideon from the show, there was a bunch of outcomes, them being evil was definitely one of them. Eva had shown you on her phone about this huge change Gravity falls was getting for the new season. You weren't sure if you'd get used to it. The show was already good as it was, meaning this change was unnecessary. Maybe you were thinking that way because you weren't sure what was going to happen and that scared you.

"Hey earth to weirdo!" Pacifica poked your cheek easily getting your attention. "Hey I know he's a hottie, but no need to stare so hard." She giggled making your face turn red upon understanding what she meant. It wasn't like you were just staring at Dipper! You were looking at both, but if you said that she might've taken it as 'OOO you have a crush on both the twins!' And that is not a misunderstanding you wanted. "Pacifica." Gideon scolded his cousin. "Don't make her uncomfortable." In return she made a face sticking her tongue out at Gideon. He did the same, it was funny seeing them act so close.

"SO! Whats your name mysterious girl?" Pacifica asked trying to get your name and possibly a potential friend. It would be nice to have someone similar to Eva, although it still wouldn't be the same as the real Eva. "Y/n." You replied. "Im Pacifica, and I heard Gideon saved you." She wiggled her eyebrows suggestively. "PACIFICA!" Gideon shouted with a beet red face shoving his cousin aside who broke out in a giggling fit. "I'm sorry about her, she's hard to handle." It made you smile when he tried to calm things down. "It's fine, you two are kind of funny." This is when Pacificas eyes gleamed. An idea popped in her head.

"Hey! Wanna come with us to meet the psychic twins??"

Here you three were on your way to tent telepathy. Gideon didn't seem as enthusiastic as Pacifica, cause she was really hyped by the way she skipped alongside us. Letting out a long sigh Gideon looking exhausted already. "Uncle Bud is not gonna be happy." Gideon shook his head. it seemed like the new mystery shack owner was Gideons dad. Weird. "Stop being such a square Gideon, we're here!" She pulled you two along the entrance.

A lot of people entered through, the whole town in fact. Not that it was a big town. Everyone had smiles  plastered on their faces, except for you and Gideon. After all you were still nervous about how everything would go, or what you would see. Gideon didn't even want to come in the first place so of course he had a frown on his face. "I think they're about to start! They're gonna make that frown turn upside down cuz!" Pacifica found a place near the front shoving some people to make space. You smiled at Pacifica, she was so much like Eva, maybe just a lil more crazy than her.

As soon as the curtains on stage drew back you kept your attention on the show. Mabel and Dipper were standing up there, wearing weird dark blue outfits that made your stomach twist. When Gideon were these outfits he looked like a lil cutie, but when they wore it, it gave off a different dangerous vibe. "Welcome to our show, we're glad you could make it." They said in unison. They both smiled, but you could tell they were forcing it. "I have a vision. I predict that you will soon all soon say, awww." Mabel said turning herself around before turning back with the cutest look on her face. Everyone did indeed go 'Awww' making Pacifica seem incredibly impressed. "It came true..." Gideon on the other hand found it lame. "What? I'm not impressed." She looked over at him with a grin. "You're impressed." His frown just grew at her false words.

It seemed like everything was going like the show. Things just seemed awkward with Mabel and Dipper up there, were they going to sing?" "Hit it Stan!" Mabel spoke making their uncle from the show play the piano before they started singing. You hid your face with your hands, this was too much. A laugh was urging to come out of you but you did your best to hold it in. In all honesty their singing was pretty good. It was a happy tune that clearly didn't suit their current vibe, but seemed to keep everyone happy— except for Gideon of course who refused to be. "Come on rise up everyone! I want you guys to keep it going." Dipper held his pendant forcing everyone out of their seats to stand. "How did he—" Gideon narrowed his eyes confused on how he was standing. "Y/N this is so cool!" Pacifica shouted unnecessarily at you. She didn't have to since you were standing near each other. The twins song was slightly different with word changes here and there, but the biggest difference was the scene where when Gideon went up to Mabel guessing her name, instead it was Dipper who went up to you guessing your name. "Something tells me your names Y/n." He included in their song, making your head and heart nearly implode from how close he stood. "How—" He walked back up stage before you could ask. Then you remembered Pacifica shouting your name earlier, he must've caught it.

"Thank you all for visiting, you are the ones making this happen, you're all the miracles." Mabel concluded with a smile. The show was over. Once everyone started leaving Gideon finally seemed to smile. The three of you walked out of the tent standing in front of it. "Wow, those kids are an even bigger fraud than uncle bud. No wonder our uncles jealous." Gideon stated. "Oh come on their dance moves were adorable, but I saw the way one of them was looking at Y/n." Pacifica playfully nudged you. Gideon rolled his eyes while crossing his arms. "Are you talking about the twin brother? He seems weird." Pacifica stuck her tongue out at Gideon. "Don't be so jealous of him! But yeah, he's the one with the cool marks on his forehead that looks like a Little Dipper!!" She exclaimed. "You're too easily impressed." Gideon grinned while she poked him as a response. You smiled at their usual playful behavior.

"We should get home, it was fun hanging out with you Y/n." They were about to say their farewells leaving you there to head home, but you had no place to live in this world. Quickly you grabbed Gideon's hand. "Wait!" You tugged him back making him stop. "Huh? What's the problem?" His eyes looked at your hand that grabbed his before looking back up at you. Blush dusted his cheeks. "Can- can I sleep over? You guys seem so cool..." please say yes. Please say yes. You repeated this in your mind as your bit the bottom of your lip anxiously. All you needed was a little more time. Gideon opened his mouth to respond until Pacifica jumped in. "Of course you can!" Her toothy grin exposed the braces you surprisingly just noticed. "You can borrow some of my clothes so we can save time! Cmon let's hurry back, we can talk about boys!" Pacifica squealed taking your other hand pulling you and Gideon along.

As you three left a pair of eyes that had never left you watched the whole thing.

Ayy sorry for being gone for too long, I've been distracted by many things. I even have a D&D group now! Anyways here's the chapter I  never published there might be some mistakes since I didn't check over it, I'll do that when I get home.
