Loads of fluff and uwu. Enjoy!

(Agnetha's POV)

The annoying sound of a ringing alarm clock awakened my sleeping senses. With my eyes still refusing to open, I reached to the bedside table, my hand looking for the clock as if it could by itself, and as I touched the clock's button, I shut it out. The ringing finally stopped. I sighed and now opened my eyes. It was 4:30 in the morning. I rolled to my side and found my girl still soundly asleep, facing me. Her hands were glued palm to palm, situated underneath her right cheek. I foolishly smiled to myself, first because of how beautiful she was and secondly, because of the fact that even a fucking noisy alarm clock couldn't really wake her up.

"Frida, baby," I said, leaning closer to her. She didn't respond.

"Anni-Frid..." I said, lightly nudging my nose against her nose. Still got no response. This woman. "Anni-Frid Synni Lyngstad, soon to be Fältskog, please wake up."

I hoped that the gayly sweet statement I just made would wake her up, but it still failed.

Without thinking about it, I put my forefinger on her face. At the same moment, I had recognized her dispersed freckles. Frida hated having them, but I really loved them, making me smile to myself again. They looked like dots you can connect, so I did try to connect them but I only ended up drawing random lines on her cheeks, making her finally wake up. Oh yeah.

"Hey, what are you doing?" She asked in a still sleepy voice, yawning afterwards.

I continued drawing lines on her face, "Nothing, just admiring you and your cute ass freckles." I chuckled. She slightly frowned. I held her face and kissed her lips. Her frown disappeared in an instant as usual, 'cause she really liked morning kisses. I felt her smile against me.

She pulled away after some seconds. "Baby, why are you up this early?" She curiously asked, looking absolutely clueless of my planned surprise for her.

It was the 14th of November, and obviously, her birthday would be the next day. Weeks before, I'd secretly bought her and I tickets to a park in Abisko, a village in Northern Sweden. I'd decided for us to see the Northern Lights, together for the first time, to celebrate her birthday. It would take us around 17 hours to get there, so we really had to prepare early if we didn't want to miss the train.

"Pack some clothes and all the stuff you need. We've got a long, long day ahead the two of us." I just answered, my tone straightforward.

She frowned again but in confusion, I sweated a bit.

"Huh? What for? But, okay."

I felt relieved, good thing she didn't like asking too much.

We immediately got ourselves and our stuff ready, and by the time we left the house it was already 5 am. We rode a cab to take us to Stockholms Centralstation. It wasn't very far, though. The train to Abisko was scheduled to leave at 6. Frida, being the sleepy head that she was, fell asleep during the short ride, which was really beneficial for me, as she wouldn't ask more questions. Frida trusted me so much, just as I trusted her.

I bet she already felt hat it had something to do with her birthday celebration, but I thought that she'd still be really surprised with what I had planned for us to do.

As we reached the train station, I softly patted her cheek. She stirred a bit and woke up, glancing to her left and right. Her eyes were barely open. I laughed a bit.

"Frida, we're here. Come on now," I told her as I carried our stuff from inside the cab.

We had one bag each, and after she went out the cab she took hers from me. Her free hand quickly clasped mine when we began to walk through, and I couldn't help but to feel warm and whole. Her hand fitted in mine perfectly, as if it was made for no one else but me to hold.

Not long afterwards, I saw our train, so I stopped us from walking.

"So, where are we going?" Frida asked, half-asleep. She yawned again. I didn't answer, but I thought it was time to reveal the surprise to her. I just took out and showed her our train tickets, as well as the tickets to the park. Her eyes widened for a few seconds, then she looked up at me. She smiled that crinkled-eyes, crunched-up nose and toothy smile, and I giggled. Damn, she never fails to make me feel those butterflies.

We entered our train and quickly searched for our seats. Each pair of seats were actually like two small couches facing each other, with a table in between. We found ours, and I immediately took Frida's bag, putting it along with mine on her supposed seat. She had to sit next to me, 'cause again, Frida was a sleepy head, and she felt most comfortable sleeping on my shoulder.

I looked at my wristwatch, it was almost 6. We heard some personnel saying that no one was allowed to leave the train anymore, as it was about to leave. I actually had the option to just go to Abisko via plane, but then again, I still feared it. Also, I wanted a lot of time for Frida to just rest and be with me. The train ride would give us the chance to see beautiful sceneries, too.

Shortly, our train had finally left the station. A kind waitress came to us to ask if we needed anything. I asked for a cup of tea, because it would help Frida relax, and a cup of coffee for me, 'cause I badly didn't want to sleep.

"Agnetha," she said, sipping her tea.

"Hmm?"

"When will we get there?"

I shrugged. "Tonight."

"That long?!" She shouted, a little loud.

"Well, yes, so you can sleep your soul away." Frida pinched my nose. I chuckled.

"Okay." She put down her empty cup on the table, and laid her head on my shoulder. Then I noticed her eyes eventually get heavier and heavier as we talked about mundane things, until she fell asleep again.
