( Nara T'Mair's POV )
She walked through the crowd of people at Port Hunsha, the capitol city of Xurelia. She weaved past people as she ascended the staircase into the Councilor's Hall, before she glanced around then beelined for the largest door in the room. The Matriarchs sat at their crescent table as light poured in from the skylight above, and Nara cupped her hands behind her. The Lead Matriarch smiled gently: "Nara T'Mair, operative from Kapora with a near perfect record. Expert in infiltration, espionage and assassination."
She nodded to the Matriarch as she heard another one say: "Quite a portfolio you have, Miss T'Mair." She grinned smugly, and said: "Would you expect any less of me, Matriarch?" The Lead Matriarch swiped away the terminal and said in an emotionless tone: "We've formed a team, Miss T'Mair. We'd like you to command it for us." Nara tilted her head slightly, in light disgust: "I don't really do teams, ma'am." The Matriarch grinned at her, with a bit of smugness to her face: "Now you do, Miss T'Mair."

( Tejix Fueni's POV )
He lifted a crate, but he could barely lift it at all as he groaned. The green Neraavian man plucked it from him and walked it up into the ship. He sighed as he scanned the cargo that remained, as the other members of the crew loaded things on. Xeak, the stronger, taller green man from earlier patted him on the back as he heard his deeper voice say: "You worry too much, Tejix. It'll all work out just fine." Tejix sighed, he'd wished he was as brave-faced as Xeak appeared to be. In fact, he wished he was everything like Xeak. Xeak was a taller, heavier built Neraavian who seemed to always have a sarcastic, up-beat attitude. While Tejix was a short, physically weak, small young boyish Neraavian with a nervous demeanor.
While the nervousness of being finally set to launch was tough, he was excited to see how his prototype technology worked out in the field. For him, and for his squad-mates. He was a genius by most species' standards, and even quite smart for the Neraavians. He was well-known for his work in the development of Port Hunsha's kinetic dome, which he co-designed with a fellow scientist. He glanced down at his outfit, a well-fitted black and gray shirt/top style full-body outfit. He nervously picked at it, always worried about how he'd appear to others. Xeak swatted his hand away with a nudge to his arm. As he glanced up, the purple woman stopped her walk and continued to type on her datapad.
He looked over at Xeak, who towered over the 5'2 boy. He looked back at the purple girl, and shyly asked: "Are you Nara?" She glanced up with a nod before she resumed her view on the datapad and walked aboard the ship, the Desti Ishara. Xeak patted Tejix on the back before he walked after Nara. He sat on a crate, and opened up his datapad as he faintly smiled upon the sight of a message from his older sister: "Oh, Aheni." He said quietly

( Dea Lazrinus' POV )
She stood over a terminal on the bridge, as she heard Ishara's feminine voice speak from a nearby terminal: "Assuring connection to Desti Ishara." She looked over at the door as it opened, and the shorter purple woman entered in. She extended her hand: "Dea Lazrinus." The woman refused her hand, instead passed by her out of her view and said: "Nara T'Mair." Dea instead returned to her terminal, where she checked the ship's systems to ensure everything functioned properly. She glanced over at the sound of the door again, and in came Xeak. She knew Xeak, they'd met a few days prior. She wasn't the most fond of his well, large ego that fit his body frame. He tended to fancy himself a hero, which she wasn't fond of either, but otherwise he seemed perfectly nice.
She felt his hand on her back, as she continued typing and she saw him partially as he leaned on the table out of the corner of her eye. Him, Nara and Tisira chatted for a while as Dea was too busy to talk. She walked around the room, and continued to turn on different terminals as Ishara connected to all of them. The door opened again, as the younger blue Neraavian, Tejix entered. She felt a smile grow across her face at the sight of the anxious young man, she'd known him for around 13 months now since they'd both worked on the Desti Ishara together. She saw the boy faintly smile at her as he sat in the pilot's seat, and rose up the small kinetic barrier as a sort of arm to his chair.
She walked over, and sat in the co-pilot's seat as she spoke: "Xurelia Air Control, this is the Desti Ishara, permission to take off?" The female spoke on the other end: "Permission granted, Desti Ishara. Ditaayn." She smiled gently as she flipped switches, and heard Tejix flip some as well. She slid a large gauge up as Ishara said: "Thrusters online, taking us up." She felt the ship shake beneath her as it lifted upward, and they all looked out the main window. The azure blue sky awaited them, as their ship moved closer toward the clouds. She glanced over her shoulder, the entire crew had smiles on their faces before her eyes returned back to the azure skies ahead.
What an adventure this would be.
