"Hey."
You whip your head around to see a woman. She has red hair. You quickly lift up your hand as you move to sit cross-legged.
"Woah, I'm not going to hurt you," she tells you.
You furrow your eyebrows as the snow around you starts to melt, causing water to flow. The water rises up and creates a dome around both the woman and you.
"Natasha!" a man yells.
You turn your head towards the voice and see a man with brown hair. He has a bow and it's aimed at you.
"Clint, don't," the woman says.
Despite the woman's call, he lets go of the arrow and it zooms toward you.
The sound of the metal door scares you. You get up, not wanting to hear any more words. The man doesn't say anything. He leads you to the room where you're told about your missions.
You're positioned on one side of the freeway, the cars swerving around you. You have a pistol in your hands. You could see the black car being chased. Seeing them coming, you put your pistol back in the holster that is wrapped around your thigh. The black car swerves around causing it to flip over and the three people inside fly out on top of the car door. The momentum makes them slide forward. It also makes one of the people roll off of it.
The grey jeep drives over to you and parks, the soldier on top of it. He jumps off and a man hands a gun to him. The soldier aims it at Rogers and the woman. The woman runs to the side and the soldier shoots the gun at Rogers. Rogers puts his shield in front of him and the rocket-type bullet hits his shield. The impact causes him to go flying off the freeway and into a bus.
More men get out of the jeep. They see the woman and the other man duck behind cars. The men that came out of the jeep start shooting at the cars. You take out your sniper rifle. The woman peeks out to shoot back and you take the opportunity to snipe at her. Your bullet only grazes her arm and you sigh while pulling your sniper rifle's hammer. The soldier fires at the car the woman is at causing the car to explode and the woman to vault herself over the divider in the center of the freeway. You load a bullet into your sniper rifle.
The woman rolls to avoid a car hitting her and the men continue firing at her. The soldier fires at the next car she takes cover behind which causes the car to fly off the side of the freeway. The woman also goes off the side of the freeway and out of your view from the jeep.
Gunshots come from below the freeway as the soldier is scoping out the bus Rogers fell into. He ducks behind the cement rail of the freeway and pulls his cracked goggles off. He gets back up and starts shooting at who you assume is the woman only for shots to be returned.
You abandon your perch next to the jeep and move to the edge of the freeway. You look at the soldier briefly then look into the scope to see the red-haired woman running and telling everyone to evacuate. You aim at her and put your finger on the trigger. You pull the trigger, hitting her in the shoulder. She falls onto her knees and ducks behind a car.
Just as you wonder where the second man is, one of the backup men is thrown off the edge of the freeway. You turn to see the second man. You put your sniper rifle in its place on your back and pull out the knives at your wrists. You no longer carried swords anymore.
"I see you're making the fight fair. I think you're one of the most logical and stupid enemies at the same time," the man says.
You rush towards the man, bringing one arm back. The man pushes his knife forward, cutting into the upper arm of your suit. It cuts flesh and your start bleeding. He slashes with the knife again and you use one of your knives to block the attack. Before you could bring your knife down into his neck, he kicks your leg causing you to collapse onto the floor. You hit your head hard on the floor causing you to see what you think is a memory.
"Sammy! Can you show me what your wings do? They look really cool!" you smile at the man standing in front of you.
The man smiles and climbs onto the roof of the two-story house using a ladder. When he jumps off the roof, his wings pop out and allow him to glide around you in circles. You hear yourself laughing and feel yourself smiling.
The man takes a bow and you hear clapping coming from behind you.
"You're showing the kid tricks? It makes it seem like it's a talent show."
You turn around and see the man you remember as Rogers with the red-haired girl standing next to him.
You try to sit up but you're pushed back down. Trying to find out who it is, you flip around onto your back. You see the same man that caused you to collapse onto the floor.
"Sammy?" you sputter.
There's a look of confusion on his face. The next thing you see is recognition. He kneels down next to you and hugs you. Despite feeling slightly uncomfortable, you hug Sam back.
"When we have free time, you're going to explain everything," Sam tells me.
"Я уже знаю, я перестал работать на них. Они не могут отслеживать меня в любом случае," you tell him, forgetting he doesn't speak Russian.
I already know, I quit working for them. They can't track me anyways.
"You know I don't speak your voodoo language, right?" Sam replies to your statement.
You roll your eyes and translate what you said in Russian. You put your knives back into their spot underneath your wrists. You get up off the floor and see the soldier and Rogers fighting.
"What's Rogers' first name?" you ask Sam.
"You called him 'Vee.' His name is Steve," he tells you.
"Well, I'm going to help him."
You vault yourself over the rail of the freeway, not waiting for Sam's reply although you could hear him protest as you fell downward. You land, rolling onto your knees. You get up quickly and run toward the soldier.
As you get near, you see the soldier's mask fell off.
"Bucky?" Steve asks.
"Who the hell is Bucky?" the soldier asks.
The soldier pulls out a pistol, but before he could fire it, Sam comes flying in and kicks the soldier onto the ground. You notice one of your pistols are gone. It didn't matter to you since you never used them and used your sniper rifle instead.
The soldier stands up again and was about to shoot before the red-haired woman shoots the soldiers own gun at him, causing him to be shot back. When the smoke disappears, the soldier is gone.
You hear the police sirens and take off, ignoring the three people's calls for you.
