Violets Pov:

The sun rose up. It’s shine gazing upon us waking me up my head still leaning on Clems shoulder. She looked so peaceful sleeping next to me, I couldn’t bring myself to wake her up, instead I moved a strand of hair out her face and stroked her face gently.

Unfortunately I ended up waking her up and I jumped embarrassed at being caught, “sorry...I just” Clementine sat up and leaned her head on my shoulder this time “good morning” she says her eyes looking up at me.

Shit, we had stayed out all night, Sophie and what what’s his name must be worried about us. “do you wanna head on back?” Clementine shakes her head on my shoulder.
“not really, I just wanna stay here to be honest” I smirk and wrap my arm around her waist pulling her closer “Ye me too, but seriously though heh we should go” Clementine reluctantly nods and we both stand up walking back while holding hands.

No one’s POV:

Clementine was acting alot more confident today, alot less weak and self pitied, more like Clem. Violet was happy Clem finally got over her guilt, it only took whatever last night was, was it love? Was it a one off?

“Violet. Did you mean what you said and...did...last night?” it was a stupidly obvious question to Violet but she saw the genuine concern on Clems face.

“of course” Violet squeezes her hand to reassure her “I really care about you Clem” she stops in front of Violet, their faces close together.

“I think, I mean I hope...we are more then friends” she grabs her other hand “and I want to be..you know, girlfriends” her voice struggling to say that last word.

Violets face was in shock not believing that the girl she liked since childhood was actually asking her to be in a relationship together, it kind of made her feel pathetic for not being the one to ask but all the same the result was still their and she was happy for it.

Violet came back to reality and looked at Clementines golden amber eyes “eh y,yes, I wooould like that” Clementine smiled and Violet couldn’t hold back anymore, she gently squeezed both Clems hands and pecked a kiss on her lips. Clem gave a smug smirk “nice, but I think I could do better”

Violet was very confused what she meant “huh, what do yo-“ before she could finish Clementine had already pressed her lips to the blondes and Violet quickly egged it on by deepening the kiss. They pulled apart and Clementine walked off looking back at Violet not taking her eyes off the stunned blonde, this new Clementine was far more interesting then the depressed mess from yesterday.

They eventually arrived at the ship but failed see Louis or Sophie as it came into view “where are they?” Violet asks worried something may have happened “let’s not worry just yet, they may be inside the ship” Clementine suggests seeming confident that she’s right.

They entered the ship and Violet sighs in relief at hearing Sophie laughing in the distance, she was under the floor panel tinkering and repairing the ships power capacitor. “wondered where you were for a second, where’s Louis”  Violet asks and right on cue Louis appears from behind them.

“hey guys, excuse me a second” Louis quickly moved past Clem and Violet to hand over a tool to Sophie “thanks Lou. I needed this” Louis quickly turned his attention back to Clem and Violet “so where we’re you two last night?” both girls look at each other worried and then back at Louis who is smirking suspiciously. “getting the food and other supplies” Clementine answers showing the boxes of stuff they bought, Louis took the boxes from Clem and set them in the storage room, once he came back he saw that the girls were standing unnecessarily close together “awfully long time just to get supplies huh?”

“what’s it to you, we were busy ok” Clementine got really defensive which Violet thought was sweet, however Louis thought it was funny. “okay whateves, anyway we still have a lot to do until this ship is back to working order so we may have to stay another night” Sophie appears from the whole in the floor “Ye, your motor is fried and don’t get me started on the state of your hyperdrive”

Clementine gives a glare at Louis “Dammit Lou, you couldn’t have been more careful?” Clementine asks clearly angry with him. He shoots his arms up “hey, considering what I escaped your lucky you have a ship at all, I’m fine by the way” that last part sounding really spiteful. Clementine sighs and places a hand on his shoulder “im sorry Louis, I’m glad you made it out ok”

“it’s ok, it’s none of my business where you guys were OR what you were doing” he quickly raises his eyebrows twice and Clems eyes roll.

CLEMS POV:

“hey Sophie you got a minute?” I wanted to solve the issues me and Sophie had when I woke up on her ship.

“Ye sure, just give me a sec” she was still tinkering in the floor panel, I lean over to see her down below but she quickly jumped up and almost smacked into my head “crap, sorry” I say after quickly stepping back. “what do you need Clem” she didn’t sound too angry so maybe this would go ok “just wanted to make sure we are ok” Sophie climbs out the floor and removes her gloves “Ye I just fixed the hyperdrive and-“ I unintentionally cut her off “that’s not what I meant” I frown crossing my arms.

Her face jumps realising what I meant “ oh eh...ye sure, we’re cool” it was too easy, I wasn’t convinced “are you sure?” she nods “it’s just you seemed pretty angry with me before”

“You came to kill us Clementine...It’s not like I could just be friends with you right away” I hold my arm, i had forgiven myself for trying to kill them but it still hurt to hear. She huffs and throws her arms “I don’t hate you anymore Clem, if Violet can forgive you and be friends with you then so can i”

I felt good to be over the bridge with the beef but I still felt the need to apologise “im very sorry for what I did” Sophie raises her hand “thanks but it’s ok seriously, your with us now, one of us now” I couldn’t help but smile and look away, I never had any friends when I was with the empire. I never got to be in a relationship, I was just always angry and mean but hid it under a confidence I never really had.

“now about you and Violet” an innocent question made obviously playful by her suspicious tone “not you too” Clementine face palms.

Sophies face turned to one of confusion “um, what were you guys like as kids?” my face was relieved to know she hasn’t caught on to my relationship with Violet “honestly I don’t remember, it’s been ten whole years. We were best friends that I know”

“what about you, how did you meet Violet?” I was genuinely interested in where Violet met Sophie, she wasn’t a youngling at the temple with us so it’s strange, now that I think about it she was a bit younger then me and Violet.

“I was a youngling when order 66 happened, I was hiding in the slums of Coruscant when Violet found me, she was about ten years old at the time, I was six” she seemed uncomfortable with talking about it.

“you don’t have to tell me about it if you don’t want to” she leaned agianst the wall “no its ok, you should know anyway seeing as it seems like you’ll be staying with us” I looked at her surprised “really?” she looks away almost embarrassed “you’d really let me stay?”

I could tell Sophie wasn’t really the emotional type but I could see her face turn red. “Ye well, you are Violets best friend and I have started to like you so..” I stopped her rambling and hugged her tight. “thank you Sophie, for forgiving me, for being their for Violet” Sophie had finally returned the hug. “well she was there for me more then I was for her”

We pulled apart and then noticed Violet was watching with a big smirk on her face arms folded leaning sideways on the door from the bridge “ok, what I miss?” she asks giggling between words. I smiled at her and said “nothing much, just a little forgiveness” the three of us left the ship and went outside, it was dark already and Louis had set up a camp fire with some chairs around it.

A/N:

So a bit of a shorter chapter today, next chapter might also be a bit short as it will mostly be back story but I want to take time and flesh out the characters in this AU so that's what these chapters are for. After that they should be back to normal length.
