This Thursday morning, I was crying because doing a end of the year speech is difficult. During Recess, I was just getting ready to go to my comfort spot. The tree. This is the place we're I play with mud and have fun with my friends. My life was natural. Suddenly, my friend Julia and Fatima came toward Nierah, Ana, and Me. "Can we borrow Sarena real quick?" They both said at the same time smiling at me. I didn't know what was happening but I thought about someone. His name was Jomari. Fatima, Julia, and me came running to the tree. I seriously had no single idea of what was going to happen. I kind of thought this was some drama. "Look if this about Jomari I dont-" Then I saw a Boy named Ivan shocked then started running. I saw all the boys packed up into one group. I kept hearing the same things. "DO IT! DO IT CHRIS!" Chris was looking away from me. Ana and Nierah catched up to us, but then I went to Ana. "Omg Sarena Chris is going to ask you out!" Ana said. I ran away with Nierah and Ana, leaving the boys including Fatima with Julia alone. I didn't know what to do, but I thought Ana was predicting a possibility. We were ignoring them so we were ready to make our mud pie. Nierah pours the water from the water bottle, but that happened was still in my mind. Ugh I thought. Julia comes running towards us, saying, "Hi. Hi. Hi." I say hi back then she says, "Rena come!" I see the boys walking towards again. Again, I start running away with Ana. I didn't want them to catch up to us. I randomly started crying. "Rena don't cry!! Omg are you crying?" Ana says, Nierah goes next to me and Ana goes in front of me. I cover my face seeing the boys talk with Julia and Fatima. We go to the handball courts and I wipe my tears. I stopped crying cause I thought crying wasn't going to help the solution. We start walking farther because we can see the boys looking at us. Since they were away from my favorite tree, we walk back to my tree. Nobody came, which is good. But we saw Julia starting to cry and Fatima next to her, comforting her. "Wait she might be fake crying." Says Ana. I take a closer look then I say, "Let's just go! She's crying!" WE comfort Julia then Fatima says, "Julia is crying because Jomari asked her out but she felt bad so she started to cry." I was shocked because first of all, I thought Jomari liked me. And I thought this would happen in the last day of school. This Recess was chaos thanks to the boys.

I start texting Jomari because I got really mad at him. This is because before I told him to tell Chris not to ask me. But that is definitely not what happened.
"Hey why did you lie to me?" I said, waiting for him to reply.
"What do you mean" he responds with no grammar.
"I thought I told you to tell Chris not to ask me." I said.
"Yeah I told him to do it but then I stopped and told him to do not do it."
I replied with an, "Oh."
"But the one who in couraged him the most was Fatima" he said.
"WAIT WHAT?!"
After the whole conversation of him blaming on people, I start to make a group chat to see what really happened. For some reason in my mind I couldn't buy what he was saying yet because I needed more witnesses of what happened. In the group chat I add everyone who was involved, (later on added Ana).
"So I wanted to know what happened at 11:12." I said impatiently. I had to admit I wasn't excited to see what someone was going to say. Nobody said they will explain so Chris said he will explain. He told me off topic things, and yeah. Basically that. But then I asked, "Did Jomari say don't do it?"
He didn't reply but Gio replied saying, "No."
I private messaged Gio to see what happened, he told me everything.
"Did Jomari say to Chris don't do it?" I still said impatient.
He quickly responded with, "He said do it and he was cheering Chris on."
I was really mad. Jomari wasn't online so I had to wait.

Fast forward
"Am I worth a penny to you, Jomari? What am I worth to you? A penny? A quarter? An innocent girl? Someone you like? Someone you hate?"
He said, " A friend."
I found this very upsetting.
"Would you lie to a friend?"
"No" he responded.
"Then I don't feel like a friend!"
"I will give you a penny tomorrow because apparently that's what I'm worth to you!"
He starts putting a 😭 emoji, then I ask "Don't cry. What's wrong?"
He said, "Nvm."
"Tell me so your okay and you won't feel cranky tomorrow c:" (This is when I started being calm)
"It's because I never been in a serious situation before."
He liked Julia at this time. But when he used to like me, he didn't get to finish this picture for me. He showed me the picture. It was great but then I said, "Ugh it's good but don't give it to me. Give it to Julia. Or Fatima."
He immediately got sad again, so he said, "Oh ok..." I felt bad but I didn't want to admit. We say goodnight to eachother and that day ends, kind of peacefully.

The next morning I still work in my speech. Yes, I did still think of what happened yesterday. That was a highlight. When I come inside the class with all the students coming in too, I put a penny on Jomari's desk. I sit right next to him so there was no problem at all. He was looking away so I just put it one inch away from my desk. I then face away and look at Fatima. I have my face near my cheek then my Tecaher says we have to do PE. We all get up then I notice the penny is gone. Awesome! It worked! Success! I then tell my friends about the penny gone. I left school with a. Smile on my cheeky face. :D
